There is an interesting story about this song. If you listen to his version of Red House from the "Real Live" album, you will notice that the music is the same as this song, aside from a faster tempo. The story, according to Frank, is that they started playing this song at a concert and he couldn't remember the lyrics, so he just started singing the lyrics of Red House and he and the band somehow figured it out in the moment. That's why his version of Red House is so different (musically)from any other.

Mandy you must try “Tales Of The Unexpected.” The solo on the back half of the track, switching styles from rock to jazz is amazing and worth every second. 👈✨
I saw Frank Marino's Mahogany Rush in 1977 or 1978 at Winterland in San Francisco. His setlist that night was quite different than the piece here you reacted to, but he was quite capable of playing hard rock or the blues, I liked him either way.
Good pick for you to do your input on one of the best guitarist ever. Buy all of albums , mohagany rush live is a great one to start with, he does alot of his songs from the day. It’s not a young album , from late 70s or early 80s. He had so many from the 70s it’s a blur.keep up the good work, you have good taste listening to frank
