Absolutely fantastic that looks wicked seen a suron other day and it looks old compared to this ...well done solar ..off road if you want and number plates for legal riding let's see how much they are first ...looks so clean and no bolts anywhere
Ngl I was competly sold on the surron with various hand picked mods but after seeing the modded price tag and review vids for the eclipse, it's pretty much a no brainer getting this instead. Most mods u would want come stock! Not only referring to the power train mods (battery, controller) but it comes stock with security features (fork lock, alarm system). Honestly I think this thing only gets better with aftermarket support, may blow upgraded surron out the water for only about 2k more-stock! 🤯

While a dirt bike isn't something I need, I like how Solar isn't sitting back on their laurels and is continually innovating and expanding! The removable battery is going to be the wave of the future so I look forward to when Solar starts incorporating removable batteries in the decks of their electric scooters as some of your competitors have done.
BTW, I do need a Solar electric scooter! 😂

Motor case certainly looks beefy but personally not a fan of its exposed design, rest of the bike looking very sleek. Its good to see more competitors coming into the e-moto/bike scene.

love everything about the bike but it has to have pedals even if they aren't practical to say its an e-bike. This is more like a sur ron, e dirt bike. If somebody made a pedal kit for this, i would rock it on the road. Needs a bashguard for the motor as well
The word e-bike covers pedal bikes all the way up to Surron like bikes… it’s a little confusing but there’s no other classification for things like the eclipse or surrons apart from e-motorbikes which doesn’t sound as good.
Bash guard will come on the production models that ship in 3-4 weeks 👍
I would love to get it but damn seems like new e-bikes getting higher and higher its already pushed into used car markets before you know it we be paying 20k for a e-bike I figure we get cheaper since they so many of the same e-bikes with different names.

Carbon fiber on a off-road bike I would never. Those frame will be cracking all over the place yikes. Carbon fiber just isn’t as strong as people like to claim it is.
Depends on the weave tightness and thickness of the final carbon fibre, in this case it's the highest quality we could put on there.

I think it's a pretty cool design. I wish the motor was tucked into the swing arm or up away from obstacles. I also wish it was a pedal design with a hub motor. I have similar performance specs on my ebike. I wish you guys sold carbon fiber frames for all of us stealth bomber clone riders out here.

If you plan on using on public roads yes. Just need a licence for a 125cc equivalent. Like a CBT licence in the UK

Yes! Fully road legal in the UK - just have to register it when you get it. Which we help you with.

A pedal kit would be good for bicycle trails. Without pedals you are more likely to get stopped.
If you are taking it on green lanes and have the bike registered with insurance etc -- it's perfectly legal.
If you would add public charger socket like electric cars does that would be game changer .. now nothing unusual
You could take the charger with you and plug into car charging stations using an adapter probably

i see a gleaming design flaw with this bike. No bash guard or skid plate to protect the motor. Big turn off for me.

Aslong as you dont go down the overly locked down route reid hase done you will do well. I got a premium reid scooter and ile never buy ine again as they restric the crap out of then. They not rosd worthy snyway so ehy they redtricting them? We want fun so keep it fun and will sell well.
Also replafement psrts need to be affordable and readily avsilable for the end user not judt retailers.

this comes with a 72v battery out the box and its claimed to go 60mph, OUT THE BOX. surrons go 47mph, derestricted and has a 60v battery out the box. then say the surrons better u dumbass
