This game had so simple game mechanics but at the same time genius. You felt your part in this larger RTS world that it was such a team game that everyone needed to work together.
This game is and was something else man, I was so immersed and always felt nice to have credits for something big after a good play. You had stealth tank rushes or APC rushes, lots of tactics with teams involve. Still nothing like it in 2022.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has this burden to their brains haven't planned this with my dad when I was thirteen and we would fight for whose turn was next😂
Played it for hours! I remember the map where there was a mountain in the middle and everyone was buying rocket cars and we did this trick that we shoot the missiless backwards and that hit the back of the mountain! and endless hours of sniper battles in the tunnels! Amazing time to be a child around that time!
Spent hours playing this game when it was new. Absolutely amazing and shocked no one has replicated the gameplay from it for how fun it was. Chem troopers were stupid overpowered when it came to destroying buildings from the control centers.. and flame tank rush into the guard towers was OP too!
This was such an addiction for me as a kid. I remember so hard trying to join ULow clan. The closest I got was being in their close friends ring 😂 great days
We still play Renegade-X. But now there is a dev war. Some devs fought with server dev, stole her server, broke a contract, and talk about removing her from credits. She got it back, so the evil devs started DDOSing the servers. They have betrayed us.
I used to play this with my late father. We did a lot of multiplayer game, only me and him. But I never defeat him even once. He passed away at October 2021 because of heart attack.

@@mekhilefanis1442a disk WILL work. Just need to have a techie either downgrade your windows or burn the software into a current machine. Either way, there were so many new maps and characters and cheats introduced that it will NEVER be the same as the original 6-8 maps.
This game was so fast paced. I remember downloading it and I just got sniper everytime I respawned almost 🤣 Red alert 2 was my favorite out of all of the C&C games.
@@nickgraauwmans generals was amazing! I played Zero Hour vaguely growing up. I was playing the original C&C's (Red Alert 1, Tiberium Wars and Dune2000) off of openRA. was awesome to replay the classics for free and even compete online. Even had the campaigns on them + skirmish maps.
I forget what I had to do to rush NoD flamethrower vehicle to burn the GDI defense tower, but every match that was my strat and 60% of the time, worked everytime. As GDI, i elite egineered and bought a APC, ran in, planted C4 on the obelisk and done.

Funny was, there were atleast 6 Maps or more. It was so complicated to make them available. There were in the game but they made them unavailable. Bots doesnt work on those maps. so you NEED multiplayer there

Hey Henk. Ik denk dat ik wel weet waar je vastloopt. Als je de patch wilt installeren krijg je een optie te zien voor de locatie die je wilt selecteren. Je moet op "Browse..." klikken en dan moet je naar de installatie folder navigeren waar Command & Conquer Renegade is geïnstalleerd. Als je de folder hebt geselecteerd kan je verder gaan. Als je dan nog vastloopt kan je het gewoon vragen.

I reactivated to fight in Renegade-X. Looks better (except explosion spam). But they ruined the game with ammo and reload nerfs. It's a different game now.
