I finally finished the campaign last summer. It wasn't hard or anything, I was just too busy playing the multiplayer. People, including myself, still play it to this day.
@@larryswanson7663 Hey! There's a fanmade version of Renegade called "Renegade X" If you play on US/EU there's usually a server of 2 full in the afternoons
Only problem I had with the multiplayer was the imbalance of infantry. Patch, tiberium Sydney, rocket soldier, chem warrior, Mendoza/möbius weren't as useful as the havoc/Sakura, Hotwire/tech, raveshaw/pic Sydney, and stealth black hand. The former units didn't have as much utility, the tiberium Sydney and rocket soldiers in particular. Ingame you typically find snipers and Hotwire and tanks.
This was one of the first games to actually have facial animation, sure it looks janky as hell now but it was ahead of its time when it was released in 2002
If anyone was blessed enough to play this game back in 2002, etc was seriously gifted an amazing game at the time and beyond. I played Counter-Strike in the top 3 clans at the time and also Tribes and played this game and i still have the CD to this day and would be so thankful if they re-made this game, it was one of the best and super fun games to play, i have a shit load of memories from this game also, it was insane unique and most of all, FUN!!. Cheers to ALL the players in that era for this game
This was actually the last command and conquer developed by Westwood studios as EA games took over shortly thereafter. It captures the look, feel, story and overall atmosphere of tiberium dawn perfectly
wasnt too impressed with the gameplay back in the day, but it did do an awesome job of makking you feel like you were right in the middle of one of those good old 80s action movies. gotta love the one-liners that just keep on coming :D

Havoc... Havoc... If it weren't for him, this game wouldn't be the same as it is, at least the SP campaign. The first C&C, in which Renegade is set, is quite serious about the war, Tiberium, some bald guy and his bunch of fanatics calling themselves "Brotherhood of Nod". And then there's aptly codenamed captain Parker. War is nightmare, but not for our trigger-happy protagonist. Just look at his dumb, if not silly, face at some moments :D His higher-ups tell him to stay and wait? Screw this! Let's kick some ass right away! Silently infiltrate a mansion? Infil-what? Then he goes guns blazing anyway, at least he could do it left-handed to provide fair challenge. VerryLongName Yes, I wish it were freeware. Yes, I wish it were on Steam. Yes, I wish the same fate for every great, older multiplayer game. So hey bruv, don't be a downer, the game is alive and well, and deserves more players, who can either buy a cheap copy or just, y'know, torrent.
