We experienced all the issues you had with dodge sxt. And today we got it towed. The gear shift won't move when you move the gear. Good thing it happened when we parked. We could not run the car as the shift won't move to drive. So we had to watch couple videos to diy fix the issue at least to get home. My husband luckily fixed it temporarily with a wire hanger, good thing we have one in the car lol. We managed to get home. And my husband found out there was a recall on the bushing of dodge dart sxt 2014 model. But I love driving that car it feels comfy.
I bought a brand new 2013 Dart back in 2013, it was the 1.4 Turbo. I had it for 4 years.. I did like it. I had to replace the motor only 700 miles in, but was free for me. Thats a nice looking dart.
I had my Dodge avenger for over 3 years now and its really holding up now its 150k going to 200k. I remember going over all the reviews before buying it and it is listed as not reliable and couldn't go over 120k but I still riding it still running strong. The only major issue that I change myself is the coil and spark plugs cuz it was misfiring but other than that just my brake which is normal. To me its pretty much keeping up to maintanace and it will last you long and to know the common problems to fix it yourself. Just remember these are man made it will have its flaws and will break in time depending on how you take care of it
I use mobil 1 replace 20k or one year oil change now my 2015 dart up to 185k mile on it. I think dart is really good car. I think I have issue now is evap I think need to replace gas cap or gas tank or a gas line . I think sooner some stuff will replace in 250k mile .

Only thing I’ve had to replace is the thermostat. Other than that I haven’t had a single problem with it. And my fiancé hasn’t had any problem at all with her 15 GT
Hey man, would you say that maybe some of the electrical problems are because of the hood? Reason I am asking is it appears that that hood has a high chance of rain water coming into the engine bay which could hit electrical components. I am looking to get that hood but unsure if I should because of the heat escape holes

My volume for the Aux or UConnect only go up to about 22 and the sounds doesn’t go any louder if I turn it up past 22, do you have a solution for that?? Im trying to see how loud my speakers really are.
Same here got the 2015 rally edition and it goes up to 25 only really. I think it just has some weak speakers. Definitely going to best buy and getting an after market setup
When you have the red dash lights around your cluster on, do you have to have the interior accent lights on? And if yes, does this make your rear dome lights come on with the red cluster lights? @@dustindash5931 I have the same issue. Unfortunately, Dodge will not address it. After having my dealership call them every month I finally gave up and just check the oil every 1000 miles. No problems since.

Dope dope Dart, i have the 2015 SXT. Absolutely love my Dart. I’m just having a Bluetooth connection issue. It just connects when it wants to. Idk what’s the problem with it.
Might just be a software issue if you're lucky. Maybe try flashing a Uconnect software update via usb...you can get the file and instructions from the FCA/uconnect website. www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html
hey i have a 15 dart too ! same issue, unfortunately was not able to find a solution either. you can drop hundreds on an aftermarket stereo or get a fm transmitter for 20$.... anyway the transmitter i bought has LED which makes it fast so 😂
The 8.4 inch Uconnect System is factory they are an optional package offered when these things were being sold and they have two variants one with GPS and one without both have a factory installed backup camera

Bought the dart 2015 manual transmission, back in July. A decision I don't regret tbh. Very nice car, and at a good price! It's in salvage condition, but it's in perfect shape imo. No engine light, alarm problems or anything else. Only issue is the uconnect that's a bit laggy, but it makes sense for its age.
If they made a coupe version wide body with a hard top and the 3.6 pentastar engine it would have been badass what a shame I have owned a 2014 sxt 2.4 since 2015 and have had a giant list of problems with it all electrical none engine related except for the cooling system and transmission mounts I would not recommend anyone purchase this vehicle unless you can get a deal on it but even then there are much better options available and to anyone that thinks these are fast like chargers they are very and I mean very slow a fairly new minivan can easily pass you.
Agreed, no way are these things thought of as fast, but if you like all show and no go it's fine. I still look at them as a sportier looking Neon, but he's done a good job with his.
The only thing Wrong with my 2.4 4c banger dart was a oil pressure sensor other than that it's perfect plus I have a muffler delete on my dart I'm in the process of saving money to mod it out

Yeah, I heard 2013 was the Darts worst year as far as problems. That’s why I’m going for a 15-16.
A battery can read fine at 12v and still be bad, I’ve seen it a time or two. I believe it has something to do with the cells inside the battery

Super late reply but it depends on how much heat the engine is producing, if it’s off and in the rain it will definitely be a problem
