Plus jokes about political issues today that stem from medieval conflicts that add to the "nothing ever changes" vibe that the blending of old CK2 content style and old AAR writing style creates. A new video from this guy always feels just as "I'm 14 years old, just got home from school, time to boot up CK2 on my computer and watch someone else trying one of my fave starts or read some guy's AAR on the forum waiting for my game to load" as my old comfort playlists, even though it's CK3, because it's such a perfect blend of the latest game and the old popular storytelling styles.

They will most likely rise up in rebellion, then you smash their army with your prepositioned raised levy, kill them all, siege the holding, imprison him, revoke, banish and steal all their money. Create a new vassal from the holding, and he will start accumulating cash. Do it with everyone, become the most tyrannical ruler ever and get RICH. Mercenary your way to victory.

I'm finding that I enjoy this style of story telling as well, I'm a fan of "episodes" I guess but this feels quite natural and still nice to follow instead of a recording of every single moment, even if its eventually split as if they're episodes. Well I need to think of a Way to do an Aurelian Run now - not sure if you can take the Roman empire decision as a Zunist though - probably need to form it as a reformed Christian with Lay Clergy and similar to Zunist doctrines - only way I can think of doing that legitimately with a base game character. Though the internal strife of trying to change the entire empire to a New Faith would mean you would have to be as good of a general as he, if not more so because the local populace would not be as greeting. Would definitely be an interesting run though, - would definately have to be a Custom Ruler realistically though, maybe a custom ruler starting in Bulgaria/Serbia since thats where he is believed to be born. You'd probably also need to use a mod that added Immortality too, CK doesn't really allow for that quick of conquest...

Well I need to think of a Way to do an Aurelian Run now - not sure if you can take the Roman empire decision as a Zunist though - probably need to form it as a reformed Christian with Lay Clergy and similar to Zunist doctrines - only way I can think of doing that legitimately with a base game character. Though the internal strife of trying to change the entire empire to a New Faith would mean you would have to be as good of a general as he, if not more so because the local populace would not be as greeting.
Would definitely be an interesting run though, - would definately have to be a Custom Ruler realistically though, maybe a custom ruler starting in Bulgaria/Serbia since thats where he is believed to be born. You'd probably also need to use a mod that added Immortality too, CK doesn't really allow for that quick of conquest...
Cant you just culture convert to greek and convert to orthodox after conquering enough land to form rome as a afghan zunist characther tho? It is cheesy I know but at least it doeant use bugs u know

Fun fact, Afghanistan is *not* the graveyard of empires. The English conquered it the second time and wouldn't fall apart anytime soon and the USSR was beyond broke and the union was falling apart and would have even if they hadn't invaded Afghanistan.
The English failed the first time and got kicked out shortly after the second.

Well this is a lot easier than my way of holding multiple Military Academies and abusing Hagia Sophia + Third Temple as Muslim & Theologian tree to get +6% Piety per knight to accumulate 94 piety per month.
