Thanks for the memories....I did a similar Gaylord/Wild Horse Saloon trip for work sometime before 2018. It was during Christmas and I had a room with a balcony over the atrium and they had Christmas carols echoing and winter themes projected throughout. A bit annoying at first, but then I just let go and enjoyed the whole vibe.

Did not know about the unfriendly park camping situation. There def is a lack of awareness of support for vehicle live in travelers and dwellers.

I try to spend the least money and time in states and locations that have the prohibitions you mentioned in the beginning. If they don't want my presence overnight or my business then I see no need to give them my money.

The reason for these strict vagrancy laws that are popping up is so that these places don't end up like LA, San Fran, Portland, Seattle, Denver, ect.... If those places hadn't let the problem got so out of control, these laws wouldn't be nearly as strict as they've become. Residents of cites with these strict laws, many of whom fled the West coast cites, have seen the destruction that is taking place in those other cites and are determined not to let it happen their city. Especially refugees from those distressed cities.
YES to the boots but NO to the hat. Unless you are an actual cowgirl (ranching, roping, barrel racing, etc) the hat is overkill. Even most cowboys these days wear a ball cap. The boots however, once you have a good pair you will find yourself wearing them far more often than you ever thought... I've been to Nashville many times, but I've never heard of that Park. Check it out on my next trip.

That man had an African accent, cultures have different upbringing about how people consider privacy and visiting people's homes. Like in some communities it's normal for children to run in and out of the homes of neighbors and seen as a blessing. In Angola, neighbors in your community are family and the ones to check on and take care of even if or especially because your birth family may be far away. And some parts of Africa embrace variations of the concept of Ubuntu where there's a collective sense of love for one another as a community too.
Then cats ain’t got nothing better to do than be mad at something or find a way to work themselves up about nothing. It’s not their fault either though. It’s been trained into social aspect to be separate and oppose anything outside of their spectrum of life. Also, I happily remember walking outside of a hotel in 2011 stoked on my failures because it forced new beginnings. Lives a trip

The Gaylords are very nice. I stayed at that one, the one in Grapevine Texas and the one in National Harbor Maryland.
