These LED bulbs were specially designed for this special H7 headlight with a retainer holder. Directly plug and play, no modification, no cut, no splice.
Some models of Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia, the factory headlight bulbs H7 come with retainer holders. If you want to convert halogen bulb to LED, a suitable retainer adapter is required for LED bulb. There are a lot of adapters for after-market HID & LED bulbs, but they do not fit perfectly. Common adapter and LED bulb are difficult to lock firmly on headlight housing.
In this video, we show you how easy it is to use a custom adapter and LED headlight bulb to install on 2012 Mercedes Benz C300. Actually, as long as your original retainer holder same as Mercedez C300, then this LED adapter will fit your car.

Thank you. Some good advice for installing on DRIVERS difficult side access... windshield washer reservoir ... some great tips. This adapter/retainer for led is so frustratingly difficult to find... for our 2014 C250 sport sedan???... omg. I've learnt the aluminum clip that goes behind the bulb base is always too large diameter. So I've retrofitted the oem retainers from the low and high beam - both different lol - to hold snug.

Hi, did you used another universal adapter clip to install standard H7 LED bulbs? But the diameter of the universal adapter clip is too large, which can't hold the LED bulb, very loose, right?

For 2011-2017 Mercedes C300, they are the same headlight bulb size. So you can upgrade the halogen to LED according to the video guide. This clip does not work for 2010 MB E350. We carry another clip for 2010 MB E350. You do not need to add a separate resistor.

Yes. H15 will fit high beam and DRL. H7 is for low beam. Do you know if your OEM h7 halogen bulb come with a special retainer holder? If so, the standard H7 LED bulbs don't fit.

I converted my 2014 c300 with an led kit from Amazon. The retainer clips did not fit correctly. The LEDs have burnt out and I've decided to go back to halogen, but I've lost the retainer clips. I've ordered twice from Amazon and although they say they will fit, they do not. Any advice on replacing? Mercedes says the part is unavailable and the entire headlight will need to be replaced
You don't need to replace the entire headlight. Did you purchase special H7 LED bulbs as one in the video?

I had the same situation as you but I refused to downgrade to halogen Because I don't like that shit.
So the solution is to get some double sided sticky tape cut a piece that will go around the silver collar on the led and remove other side of tape when pushing the led into the socket you will have to hold it there for a few minutes so it gets a good bond. The glue will become hot and melt and now you have a water tight bulb. It works rather well ive used the scotch mounting tape it's pretty good. I've never had one pop out.
