So that what it’s called
Hmm, maybe it should've been called Lightning Ray (or perhaps just Electric Ray). Both because rays are the closest relatives to sharks, and because it sounds like a cheesy sci-fi weapon. The logo could be a ray from a vertical perspective with two lightning bolts across its chest, or maybe with a crackle of lightning around its tail.
Came down here to say this. Especially consider keeping the "* To be replaced with better symbol". For one, it's hilarious if it becomes the permanent symbol, and for two, If there's ever a UI refresh 3.0, it will have been prophetic!
Awesome report. The shareholders are happy and have approved Operation Lightning Fish. The Board met and approved that logo as the official logo too.

I LOVE the worldbuilding you are doing. As an aspiring writer, i espetially enjoyed the pillars of workdbuilding material and found it not only fun but informative. I was sad to see you dragged into the Moras of that whole female space marine conversation but it did not change my enjoyment of the work you alk do there. I am VERY excitec to see where your workdbuilding project goes and hope there will be more pillars of wirkdbuilding in the future to go along with the very interesting workdbuilding project you are working on. Peraps thr pillar videos are over and if so then thats too bad but what we got was fantastic. Keep up the fantastic work everyone at the templin Institute, 2024 should be very interesting.

Always love this channel.
But let's be honest, the video you had a lil strop about at the start was a badly argued attempt to hot-take an 'controversy' that went away far more quickly than clearly you expected.
I am definitely on board with getting more, short videos. I've been missing the Templin Institutes regular content. The new stuff is awesome. But I subscribed initially for the investigations. I've been a bit sad to not see them.

#TemplinInstitute Given that the final season of The Bad Batch is coming out next month, could one of your short videos be on how you would think a Clone Trooper Rebellion against the Galactic Empire would go? Sure, the timeline clearly shows that the Bad Batch and Rex are going to lose to the Empire, but it would be nice to hear your input. Do you think the Clines would somehow succeed? If they did, what would happen to the galaxy and the Jedi? And if they failed, would there be consequences later on?

I been wanting to ask you a question.
Let's say on Earth everything is running on steam power on every continent besides land and see cause they found a way to make steam power advanced where it requires less fuel water and oil alternatives.
What I was thinking is that this alternate Earth has spread from Earths atmosphere to other planets having space stations that have special designed domes that grow genetic enhanced trees that includes on Earth that grow faster and easier to burn as a fuel source.
But because steam engines require a water source that they made a special device that can recycle steam back into water to help keep running the steam engines.
I wanna know what you think I ask for your advice on this story idea I have thank you kindly.

i didn't like your take on Canon, but i still like the your content. I'm a firm believer that Canon exists for a reason and changing it frequently or just changing it for the hell of it, is a very bad thing, just look at how many reboots mortal combat has had in the last 5 years
Sure, but canon also shouldn't be this rigid and unchangeable religion. Warhammer is in part a satire of that line of thinking.
@@Mahbuwarhammer does have a concrete cannon of sorts with a pretty consistent time line of events and the big things don’t really change, like how Space marines are only male. These new books have really been messing stuff up tho that’s why that lady introduced in the Horus heresy books the “mother” of the primarchs has become even more hated than Erebus and Lorgar
@Mahbu I agree, Canon can change, but it shouldn't change without a clear set of reasons why it has to be changed, there are also certain parts of any universe that should not be changed or you risk changing the way that universe fundamentally works, and often not for the better, for instance, in warhammer the nature of chaos is such that even knowing what a symbol of chaos looks like can cause you to be corrupted by chaos, this is a fundamental part of warhammer that cannot be changed without creating a myriad of issues across the entire franchise
Exactly. A setting without canon is like a man without a skeleton, and the fact that Templin are still trying to sit on a high podium over such a humiliating flop is just sad. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and say that they simply made a mistake out of ignorance over a touchy lore topic, much like they didn't understand the flawed nature of Men (and Elves) in Tolkien's Legendarium to the point of claiming they are inhumanly perfect (tell that to Túrin Turambar, Boromir or any of the Noldorin royal family...), but this sort of behaviour makes that position hard to maintain since it shows they're digging foxholes rather than learning from the loremasters of the setting in question. All that does is damage the credibility of the Institute.
The Institute is better than this, and I hope that comes out in the new project, the canon of which I look forward to exploring.
Well, new canon should be based on old canon. “New canon” that goes against original canon isn’t canon.
