Going to see AVTAK in the Summer of '85 holds a special memory for me as being the last Bond film to have seen with my Dad before he passed in '87, shortly before the Timothy Dalton takeover- so AVTAK will always be well regarded w/me.
I’ve always enjoyed it! It came out at the peak of 80s coolness. You had Duran Duran at their height. Grace Jones was awesome and Roger Moore was totally settled in the role. Great score too. I’m sorry about your Dad, I have similar memories with my mother. It’s not easy losing a parent, but thank God for those memories…Thanks G.O. for being part of the channel.
Going to see 007 movies with my freinds and family are some of my best memories. I went to Switzerland in '74 with my dad and visited the locations of OHMSS. I'll never forget those times.
My condolences to your father & the late great Roger Moore who portrayed James Bond 007 from 1973 to 1985. I love the movie & James never loses nor misses. Your father is not only a great man, but also a hero just like James Bond.
Likewise, I saw this with my dad. He died in 1995, but I'm pretty sure this was the last time I went to the cinema with him. It always makes me think of him. We didn't have many shared interests, but we both enjoyed Bond!
Great villains, cool 80s vibe, great theme song, great John Barry score, Grace Jones! and a confident and cool Roger Moore. I’m with you! Thanks for hanging out. 👍
I agree, it's not the worst James bond movie, there have been worse like diamonds are forever, die another day, quantum of solace, the man with the golden gun, never say never again. However that doesn't mean it's great either, just a mediocre bond movie witch isn't bad

I hope you and your father had a great time. Watching movies with loved ones now gone make some of the best of memories…
Film doesnt deserve all the negativity it had received over the years! One of my favorite Bond films!

When I was a kid, this was the very first Bond movie I ever went to see in the theater and I loved it.
First Bond film I saw in theaters. Still one of my favorites.
I like it. Classic Bond movie with fun and action and a late but still good Roger Moore. Great cast also, Patrick McNee, Chris Walken and Grace Jones.
This was the first Bond movie I ever went to the theater to see.
Rest in Power, Roger Moore & Rest in Beauty, Tanya Roberts.
James Bond 007 . That 's Great ! and Super Film .Forever . 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This one was my first Bond movie in the cinema.
Mine too.
I saw A View To A Kill back in 1985 at home in Wembley Park Middlesex First time on T.V.
Classic OO7 Film! 🙌🏻
Patrick Allen is trailer voice man....the voice of both UK nuclear armageddon and a Frankie Goes to Hollywood song.
While the US gets Peter Cullen, Optimus Prime himself as the announcer for the trailer. ^^
I'm a bond fan and I think this movie's 🔥 but 0:29 they did roger moore dirty 😂 this is the first time i ever noticed the OD green screen 😂

Everything about the plot is now an Austin Powers satire mainstay.
The absolutely very worst Bond…..to goofy and comical…..way over the top in STUPID!!
Not at all. It’s very dark and brooding and violent.
Roger Moore es el mejor James Bond
