  • I'm fishing the lower end of Sam Rayburn for crappie!
I launched at Mill Creek and fished almost to Farmers. I would idle around until I would find brush piles. Then I would use my Garmin Livescope to see what was in them.
That livescope is an amazing tool for finding fish. It sees everything under the water.
I was throwing a Strike King lightning shad and It works amazing during the summer months.
Good White Perch Fishing, Tight lines & God Bless!

@@L2Zho yes I do. There is a couple heading to the Neches River saltwater barrier. They use to have some good fish in them. Fishing around the barrier isn’t bad either.

Know anything about crappie on Lake Conroe? Catching huge perch on my sisters dock. Its main lake and the water is 8ft at the dock but 15 feet out it starts dropping to 20ft. Have structure under the dock but cant seem to pull a crappie.

      @@scottluft3415 Check the 1097 bridge pillars. I hear that’s a good spot.
