Looks like real bass fishing that we can do. Thanks for showing the areas, baits, and live catches and misses. Keep it real and most people love the actual fishing.
As a fisherman of 50 years and I do a show on Facebook, sometimes front facing sonar takes place of the years of experience that fishermen exposed themselves that 🎉🎉has been replaced by front facing sonar the natural fishing techniques that we spent so long to master has gone away I love the way you did your show today.
Nice! And I totally agree. It has taken a lot of skill and talent out of the sport. I greatly appreciate it! I love using the natural talent and that killer instinct to catch them.
Yes it is! No X-Ray vision just years of experience and putting the puzzle together. Thanks bud. I’m going to start making all of my videos a little more in depth like this one. A lot of folks got a lot of value out of it. I like seeing others do well when they fish.
Thank you! I greatly appreciate it and i’m glad you enjoyed it! I love old school fishing! I didn’t grow up rich and had to really learn how to fish back in the day. Looking back I’m grateful for it. It’s definitely helped make me the angler I am today. Good lord willing I’ll be back out there sometime in early fall to do another video.
Thanks for leaving some fish in the lake, for we amateurs. Impressive talent and set up. Subbed a couple /few vids back. I'm in Eagle Springs, a 6th gen Texan. We hadn't been on the water much, since we sold our last boat in 2021, but we've been keeping a new sport runabout pretty wet, over the past 6 weeks. I'm just getting interested in fishing again, after a very long hiatus. Your vids are very helpful. We had a great charter trip, up at Lake Bucannon, recently, during a weeks worth of fun in the LBJ area. 4 hour evening trip for 2, yielded several 23-24" stripers, as well as a couple of whites, and a hybrid, plus a few throw backs. Wife loved it. Captain is a 2nd gen charter man, on that lake. Good fun. I'd like to find a good guide to take us out and show us some good local spots to hit. :)
@@phm14 you bet! Thanks bud I sure do appreciate it. It’s definitely the time to buy one either new or used. The used market has real good prices at the moment. Especially during the spring and during the summer they have all of the underwater green lights that attract the fish. I can’t think of any on Lake Houston off the top of my head but eventually I’m going to make an insider map for that lake that will be available for y’all

@@marcuswhite1775 hey bud! I’d recommend launching at ponderosa in Luces bayou. The bayou is kinda tricky to run but so is coming from 1960. There are some shallow areas and random stumps. In ponderosa You can launch and immediately start fishing. Especially this time of the year. Lots of fish make their way to the bayou. South of the boat ramp is okay to run. Just stay in the middle. When you get to the mouth of the bayou that’s where it’s tricky and need to follow someone that looks like they know where they’re going. Huge flat out there with a few nasty stumps on it. North of the ponderosa ramp has random stumps so just idle only. Also for bass you may find my recent lake Houston baits video helpful. Give that a watch if you haven’t already. That crestliner is the perfect boat for that lake. I really like taking my aluminum rig over there. Let me know how you do! Good luck!
I believe you are correct in attributing the lower viewership to dilution from so many RUclipsrs now vs previously AND content not as diverse as it was. It seems like every bass fishing RUclips has a “5 best lures” for each month as an example. Not sure what guidance to give as I think it is just a saturation issue which will put a greater burden on RUclipsrs to be creative and provide unique content.
