For real. Was thinking same thing. Would love it at the dunes though. I might have to get a turbo for my 450r I’m about to rebuild. Gonna look into it. Nice bike 👍
It is the d7 kit. It is fun, but for all around use i prefer a built engine. If the boost is kept relatively low and you put head studs in the engine it should hold up pretty well.
I have had my turbo raptor since 2012 ( bought new in 2006, kit 2012) only issue I have had in 8 years has been blown head gasket. Which to be fair was my fault I get greedy with the boost controller.
I have another video on my channel going over the set up. I dont know how well a 450 will hold up with a turbo. 450 engines aren't as durable as the 700s
@@dominicpowers9893 gotcha.. i saw a few clips on yt with like 2 different quadracer450’s but not enough information on the build or how well it holds up but I’ll take ya word for it.. im selling it and getting a 700😁🙌🏾 #TurboEverything
That camera angle makes the trails look like a video game! Stuff is coming up fast! Cool quad!! Looks like a blast!
Glad to see another turbo raptor guys at D7 are the best
Man! I bet it can get a little scary riding thru the woods with that much power! Lol

I just sold it. I have a couple quads that are faster.
Take it out to sand, you would be able to open it out really nice out there 👍
Nice 👍🏼

Dominic Powers I have good experience with built engines but zero experience with turbo build

It was a d7 racing kit. I don't know if they still make them
@@dominicpowers9893 ok thanks, I shall look for the kit.
The quad still running strong?
@@jellevr1983 not sure. I sold it last year, but the stock engines are known to last year's with that kit

@@HPLex215 i know people have done it with 450s, but the 700s engines hold up a lot better. I have my own business building and fixing atvs
