We've been smoking 16-24" Specs on Top Water Moon Walker. Then switching to Mirrow Lures (hard pink/white like Chad size) they swim just below the surface & the Trout can't resist. We can see our feet out past the 2nd gut on the TX Coast. Which is rare! Headed back tomorrow morning, winds high today. Been getting 2 man limits every morning. They've been biting our plastics in 1/2 just below the hook. No Reds yet but we did see huge Tarpon smoking about a 1/2 mile offshore near Galveston
Great info guys! I know this was a tackle video, but how does the tide cycle affect your strategy? For that early morning bite especially, do you like an incoming or outgoing tide? Tight lines 🎣🤙🏾
Most of them specified their regions! Some panhandle, some texas, definitely all over Florida. One of em has even fished the entire Gulf Coast, Texas to Florida!
