- Bass cover of the song "Natural Disaster" by @TesseractOfficial from their latest album "War of Being". Filmed and recorded in the Halimasjärvi nature reserve, Finland.
They took their sweet time with this album, but it definitely was worth it. I'm speechless at how good and full Natural Disaster sounds now that we finally have an official version.
Huge thanks to Joona Muistola of Hundred Acre Wood Studios for filming this and Ville Haavisto for assisting us in completing our vision for the video. Check out Hundred Acre Wood Studios for all your audio related needs and even better tones than on my videos:

I've been waiting to hear this song in it's full glory for over a year now, and boy oh boy it sure doesn't disappoint! Are there any other songs you'd like to hear from War of Being? Let me know! 🔥
Burden
Would love to see Echoes I'm almost done tabbing it out, but Burden would be insane, If you can figure that song out then I'll be mindblown!
@@audiomeltbandseconding this!! Burden is my favourite so far
@audiomeltband Burden was sick, I'll need to see if I can actually play it hahah! 😂
I'm gonna have to say echoes.
Nice to see a wild Dingwall doing a mating call in it's natural habitat!
Killer cover as usual!
This is without a doubt the coolest bass cover I've seen. Hell of a good job dude.
Hahah, thank you! You might also enjoy my "Blind and Frozen" video then :P
The vibe in the forest is outstanding and the bass is absolutely beautiful!! Amazing job!!
Thank you! 🥰
Man, you're really making me warm up to that D-Roc tone lol. Sounds absolutely massive. Amazing cover, lovely filming location as well.
The opening riff to this song gave me strong "Dancers To A Discordant System" vibes and I loved it, one of my favourite Meshuggah tracks.
Hahah, glad you like it! It's definitely my favourite Dingwall tone I've heard 😄 The main riff does have a strong Meshuggah vibe for sure
That bass sounds killer. Fantastic playing, you did this song justice!
Now that's some production value for a cover. Also, sick bass tone !
Thank you so much!
What a location man. Sick stuff
Great job all around. The audio is great quality, the editing is great, and the just raw shots for the video are excellent too. Cheers to the whole team, everyone did fantastic!
Thank you so much
That bass sound is massive and clean as hell. Love it.
That bass sound dude...❤❤❤
missed this one ....that tone is absoluutely MAJESTIC AND MASSIVE !💯
Oh my god. The second that first bass tone kicked in, I immediately hit subscribe. This is amazing.
the tone and bass itself are blowing my minddd. this is so sick.
Awesome vid - so so tempted to pick up the D-Roc 5 in the matte black
Beware, it will ruin all other basses for you!
Uuuufffff that was nasty 👍
Dingwall in nature! Great combination 😉 Love your take on this amazing song - well done! Thank you 🙏🏻
I found this video because i was looking for a burden bass cover. hectic quality my friend, and not just the playing but the whole video, love that you can really hear every bit of noise from that bass
Thank you! I've started working on Burden but I've been a bit busy last few weeks with my own bands. I'll get to it!
Duuuude what!!! This is amazing!
Erittäin tyylikäs video! Upea ympäristö, laatu priimaa ja glitterit kimaltelee. 🔥
Kiitoksia! Ei niin metsää, etteikö sinne voisi vähän mennä kimaltelemaan. Joku Edward olisi tästä bassosta varmasti ylpeä!
Cool place!! Tree, wow. Amazing sound
Simply amazing 🤯
And I think this is my fav. track from War of Being 😊
holy shit man, this is absolutely killer stuff
Wow man great job! 👏👏
Thank you! 💜
Hell yeah dude!!! You got to this one quick, amazing work 🤘
Thank you! I filmed this based on a crappy phone recording of a live show and just hoped that they didn't change anything 😆
fantastic location for the shoot! and great playing!
Thank you! That place is just so beautiful
This is the bass tone that should be in the original mix!
Sounds ENORMOUS. Great playing as well. Awesome.
Dingwall + Darkglass + Paajanenae = Huge tones
@@Paajanenae cool, and I saw in the description you used the pork&pickle too, right.? The clarity and punch of your sound is inspiring!
@@thewetterbass Yeah the PD7 combined with the Pork & Pickle are what pushes my tone beyond your usual DarkWall tones :) It really adds that clarity and feeling of being pushed really hard
Ok this sounds actually really awesome, excited to watch it :))
Hope it was worth the wait! :P
BAD ASS!!! Love it!!
Duuude! Awesome song and location my man!
Thank you
damnnnn congratz mate! always keep pushing love the video 🤩 cheers
Thank you! I really love doing shoots outside so you might see more of these 😄
Great Job as always!!! TONE kills!!!!🤘
Please don't die to my tones, going to jail for manslaughter will put a slight damper to my videos please ❤🙏
Legendary as always
Cinematic👌Great job!
dude... that area looks beautiful!!
Thank you! I'm fortunate to live nearby the area, it's a wonderful place for walks
Love this, everything is just perfect! 🔥
That was awesome, props man.
Amazing 👏🏾🔥
Uffff
Sick man!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Since Ibanez pd7 is not produced anymore and it is hard to find it for used alsso its main function is the clean boost switch mode for this specific setup can we replace it with a produced clean boost pedal like T.C electronics spark booster or BOSS Odb 3 s "DRY" (counterclockwise) mod to achieve this specific bass sound. Have a gig in december and looking fwd to your suggestions which is a blueprint for me for modern metal
PS: Killer sound and nice versitile playing 🤘
It's easiest to achieve with an EQ pedal. Just boost 3kHz with about 5dB and that's it.
Any tips for mastering the weird sets of notes in different groupings in Tesseract songs? I often find myself playing one note too many here, one two few somewhere else. Lol Thanks for your amazing and inspiring videos!
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the answer is pretty much always just practice and figuring out the patterns 😄 For example at 1:12 -> the first pattern after a drum fill is always 1 16th shorter than the rest and I play a dead not on the upper strings on the longer patterns to make the rhythm easier. For patterns that repeat over the barline or before the bar is complete it helps to keep the pattern steadily in mind and then at some point the way the pattern is being offset by the underlying 4/4 will feel different every time and using that feel you'll know when the section is nearing its end. Or something like that, if that didn't answer your question you can point out a specific section and I can try to explain how I approach it 😅
@@Paajanenae This is actually very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to answer! You've given me some ideas. :)
What’re the odds you share your Microtubes Infinity settings?
Very high, they're already up in the Darkglass Suite!
