    Jonathan, that was the easiest tutorial I have ever seen on ILS, thank you so very much for the time taken. This is definitely going in my Bookmarks to refer back to if I need to. Please keep these coming.

    Great video & Channel. What is your suggestion on the best way to determine when to flare?

      Thankyou. Flaring is a matter of judgement - you should go over the runway apron a little above stall speed, and cut he throttle - then the plane will naturally stop flying, so you flare as it falls towards the runway. Each aircraft reacts differently, so it's a case of using your eyes, and practice with each plane.

    What happened to activating the approach mode ?? Bad instructional video

      What would activating approach mode have demonstrated, other than "I can press a button" ? There is value to seeing the instrumentation move, and react to the position of the aircraft relative to the glideslope.
