I started reading tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and it was sooo good but then i started realizing the mentioning of so-called israel a lot and it was WILD how the professor character was saying "You don't know what it feels like to be at war and always under siege" like bro

@@haleykalonausing the term zionist in a negative way is anti semetic, it others Jewish and Israeli people and perpetuates the idea that zionism is bad, erases Israeli and Jewish identity and does not help Palestinians at all. There are 15 million Jews in the world, Israel is our ancestral homeland, we deserve to live here in peace not only as Jews but as human beings. Also, unlike Palestinians we do not harbor blinde hatred to those who wish us to die. Instead we hope for peace, and our actions are only defensive against terrorists who want to carry out another genocide against us. Thank you for putting out a list of authors I should never read!!

It’s been disappointing to say the least that a lot of booktubers are still reading certain authors and happily showing their Starbucks drinks while completely ignoring the horrible things happening in Palestine. It’s frustrating
Especially when authors such as Rebecca Yarros are so popular now, I think the worse parts are not only the fact that people are ignoring what their authors say for poorly written literature that a 12 year old could've written on wattpad but the lack of empathy or regret when confronted with the truth. @@BooksToAshes
