    We are planning to purchase a Heat Pump Water Heater soon so that we can rely on our solar panels and consume less natural gas! (We have a heat pump to heat and cool the house but have our furnace as a back up incase something happens to the heat pump!) This is a cool video! Thanks for Sharing!

    Do you use pipe dope and teflon tape on the threads ? I always use both on all threads and never have leaks. I have a friend that was a plumber. When I first started working for him, I would go back to his jobs and undo the nipples on the boiler because he would have a couple of leaks. Had to drain boiler undo the nipples and put it all back together again and purge the system. Doesn't take long to tape the jionts. Hoppe you had a good holiday. Happy New Year

    What do you think is better the m18 sectional sewer machine or the k-60?

    Hey i recently installed this same unit at a resteraunt, why did you recirc into the drain instead of using the hot 1 1/2 nipple at the top?

      @MrKnnthc93 u can do.both but the drain is 3/4 and it's at the bottom where the heating element is. Quicker to re heat and far less cost in material as well

    Excuse my ignorance as I am not a journeyman plumber.
    What is the purpose of an expansion tank?

    • @pershingplumbing9007
      @pershingplumbing9007  18 дней назад +2

      @ronnym1977 if there's a closed loop on a water system (prv) thermal expansion (steam) needs somewhere to relieve itself since it can't get back out to the water main, expansion tanks help with steam build up

    Does CA require bronze pumps ( domestic) including hot water? Just wondering in NJ bronze on any domestic

      @easymoneyrodney5164 well all the pumps around here that we buy have the brass flanges. I've not seen one that doesn't have brass flanges really
