These Little Firefighters are such innovative devices. Very cool! Southern California is such a beautiful place and we’re all devastated about the recent fires. Take care dude!
I'm surprised to see thread protector couplings on the gas pipe. Anything smaller than 2 1/2" has a straight tapped thread. The gas company is my area uses them too.

Haven't seen those before, so I'm glad to learn about them. It's good to hear they aren't prone to nuisance tripping.
Thanks for breaking things down for us, great content
Great Video!
I have never heard of those firefighter devices, but most of the plumbing I do involves H2O supply and waste (barf) on a small scale.
Stay safe out there brother with those wildfires 🔥
I imagine a good strap wrench would keep scarring to a minimum
@@plumbbuild6517 yeah didn't even think of that. I have one to that I've never used
Great job. Careful in LA wild fires

I generally identify those as thread protectors but 60 plus year old stuff I often wonder if they are straight probebly is I caught that too
@briancrandall1601 yeah don't like thread protectors as couplings cuz they will spin all the way onto the pipe and never stop
Nice job! Bracketing/securing things. California? Crazy code or no code requirements.
@@davidbrinkmeyer5850 it's code to have them but the brackets aren't code
nice job never installed those outside Los Angeles County I assume its county and not city it pays bills
@jeffreyplumber1975 i think oc, ie require em too
"Du sprichst Deutsch", ja ein bisschen...Danke fürs Teilen
