Old faucet leaking | Old angle stops not holding back water
Looks like the tank could use more water ? 1/2 " below overflow tube. Not enough water for a good flush ? Nice easy call.
Yeah thanks for sharing the not so glamorous jobs . Awesome video as always
Nice...glad I don't have smellavision.
As you know elongated bowls are “lazy” flushers. 1.5 gal tanks only make it worse. I used to have three closet augers on my truck. One std. head 3’ auger. One 3’ drop head auger & one std. head extension cable auger. I needed to try all three sometimes on bitch clogs. Other thing I learned was to almost always bring a 5 gallon bucket in with me. Like an empty drywall joint compound bucket. Cable the snot outta the toilet bowl, fill the bucket in the bathtub or shower - flush the toilet & IMMEDIATELY empty that bucket full of water into the bowl! Several times! Again: glad I’m retired . . .
You showed nothing of importance
i did another video on this that was uploaded the other day! go check it out!
The good, the bad and the ugly. (just kidding) You really provide thorough, diligent service for your customers. All the best dude!
easy money! After the last 20 years working new constructioin, going through a medical issue and retiring decided to go back to doing some service work here and there , somewhere along the line lost my closet auger 4 years ago had to buy a new one in a pinch I bought what they had at lowes a brass craft works pretty good always had general cable before that. because of my low volume ive been pretty tight budget on tools
Those accordion pipes are trouble! I still can't believe that HD still sells them even though they are code violation! Awesome job Shane! Thats for sharing!
Went well with my sausage links this morning, now I have a hankering for a caramel infused coffee, at least you didn't have to chop down a hard log to get it to pass the toilets entrance like at my local hospital with pts on certain meds, Living The Dream!
GOOD JOB SEE YOU NEXT TIME
So much for my breakfast this morning 😢
When they hear the price of a brand new electronic faucet they normally tell me yeah the manual ones good enough😅
Well done. Like always. No leaky leaks 😊
thxs for sharing...
You shouldn’t need tape it has t had it o before so stop wasting time mumbling away it needs a fibre washer into nut between strainer and nut ohh try plugging in the sensor and see what happens your going to flood the place again
Bars on the video is light banding. The led light actually flickers really quick and your camera is catching that. Slowing down the shutter speed apparently helps
They quoted you the whole faucet, Amazon has control module for $90+
good to know never changed one of these thanks
It’s $80.67 for control module at Home Depot. I think he quoted you for the whole unit (faucet)
thank you
I couldn’t see any kind of o-ring or a washer in that connector? Is it possible that its toast?
yes
Chinese junk. One of MANY REASONS I’m glad I’m retired.
Since I’m going to be using a watts 210, my question is now since there is no T&P when filling up the new water heater, I’m used to releasing the pressure with the T&P and now since there is no way of releasing with the watts 210 do we just leave it like that and fill it?
Nice job on the repair! yeah... hauling the your tool pack everywhere every time most be quite the pain lol. That building does have some potential for future job tho! :)
Shane, what is the optimal temperature an AO Smith natty gas indoor tankless water heater needs to be set at?
@pm8302 120 i guess i.would read the manual
@ Totally agree, but unfortunately there is no manual to reference. Love your videos!
Is your 1/4 snake the rigid power spin?
That type of toilet comes with a bracket. Bracket mounts to the flange, toilet mounts to the bracket with the bolts in the side. If the brackets weren't there, then the issue was one of installation, not the toilet itself. They're actually pretty straightforward to install and remove. While I understand that this design is uncommon and would be frustrating to deal with the first time dealing with them, especially when they were installed incorrectly, blaming the toilet is kind of childish, especially when you posted this so recently and RUclips exists and there are many many videos explaining and demonstrating the mounting method these things use. You could have done a few minutes of research and understood what was going on. Also, many Toto toilets have a ceramic coating on them to help them stay clean. This is the type of toilet that pumice will actually damage. Some Toto toilets have the coating, some don't. YOu could look up if the particular toilet has a coating before attacking stains with pumice, but I just don't bother, personally, and just play it safe and if it says Toto, I don't use pumice. Chemical cleaning only.
Another great job with no leakeys!
By chance have you looked at Wilde Tools 11’’ water pump pliers? They have a notch in the front tip of the teeth that are for gripping the lock nuts on the basket strainers!
@natashaball316 I've seen those but my channies work fine really
@ okay no worries! 👍🏻
Awesome job! Thanks for posting!
Got to like those easy jobs
What a useless video. Why did you waste our time showig the final result and not how you got there? You didn't fix it really now did you.? You just made a fake video.
those kinds of practices pay big dividends, thxs for sharing
Replacing Made In China (tub spout) junk w/another Made In China junk part. Use a brass spout . . . something like a Schaul brass spout. Can’t you get any QUALITY plumbing parts In California Dude? I never installed those junk spouts.
i get whatever the supply house has and if they dont have what i want i go to home depot
yup. then wait forever for the branch manager to approve the p.o.
Yes and many times the people only want the cheapest ones installed!
Job well done 👏
GOOD JOB ENJOYED THE VIDEO SEE YOU NEXT TIME
Like Steve Lavimoniere says, "Why do you wear gloves?"
I wopuldnt have put a wye there it be sticking out of the house too far. eventually Id perhaps add a clean out in the laundry room up high. problem solved hopefully for years . Id recomend painting the plastic
Buy it for looks Buy it for Life
Great video, thx
That is a good hole cover the crap we have in New Jersey sucks.
Hate the way they don’t provide a way to eliminate the sprayer for a three hole sink
I have a couple of those Raptor hollow shaft nut drivers. My salesman at Ferguson gave me a couple free ones when they had a bunch of stock that they were getting rid of. They have held up quite well. I also use the Klein 6 inch long hollow drivers that come in handy
Pinhole in the spout of the faucet. I’ve ran across this a couple of times on some of the older Delta classics. I had one old guy who didn’t want to spend the money so he just told me to duct tape around it lol. As far as I know it’s still like that
you're sooooo professional, thxs for sharing...
Didnt want to try and braze some suader on that faucet and some duct tape to finish it off red neck handyman special 😂
MOEN - everything - brand is junk now unless you go w/a MADE IN AMERICA Kohler or a Grohe. Those start @ $400+ wholesale for a basic kitchen sink faucet so for that job: N/A. Again garbage disposer doesn’t discharge into J - bend = against code. Also exposed, flopping around ROMEX electric serving the disposer in a sink base: against code. Should be BX secured to, clamped to the back of the sink base wall. But what the hell do I know? It’s California where there’s Nigger plumbing codes.
Moen Adler anal probe faucet LOL
Well thats a new one... I wonder how that corroded thru the neck of the faucet? I got a set of SAE hollow nut drivers at HD for $17.97 which have the acetate handles and work pretty well! Thank you for the video!
Are they hollow all the way through the shaft or just like an inch up the shaft? I’ve seen some of the sets that claim they are hollow shaft and they only are partially hollow.
Thanks alot. I just sprayed my coffee everywhere after hearing ANAL PROBE and seeing the "Adler's" long ribbed contraption. Hey, can we get production to spring for better lighting on set? I had 3 seizures back to back during this film. 😂
I saw SQUIRTING, CLICK!!, then I saw faucet, Come On Man!.....Sleepy/creepy Joe
