The dress looks beautiful on you. If you had not said anything about the tiers I never would have guessed. All three of your looks are great but I love it with the green jacket.
Hi Sara! Your dress is gorgeous! I love that lovely floral print 😮 I love the modifacations. I have a love-hate relationship with elastic lol nklhoe looks # 1& 2. Very cute! Thank you for announcing the challenge and presenting a garment.
Yep those things happen to us all, especially with a garment we've made before. We kinda go in auto-mode 😊. Your dress turned out really nice, and definitely perfect for Fall and right on trend. I've been seeing a ton of shirtdresses. My favorite look is #2 with the Blazer, I like the Blazer as a nice layer piece for running errands.
Your dress is very pretty and suits your stature and skin tone. I’m not a fan of 3/4 length sleeves and never choose them but this has worked out. I think it’s because they are full.
I think your dress is a real success, and I like the sleeve length too! I also really appreciate the illustrations of how you can accessorise it, something I’m not very good at doing, but I definitely should try and plan full outfits.
The dress looks really good on you. Outstanding Docs! I do 3/4 sleeves because I need to get maximum wear out of my clothes. They work for very cold winters of -10 or the hot summers of 110+. I'm a blazer freak and its a hangover from my punk/new wave/goth years as a kid. These days, I'm also getting into cardigans as well. My kids been buying fabrics that they know I will love, so I'm expanding my wardrobe as I put on some weight and my old clothes are wearing out after 7+ years of continuous wear.
Your dress is lovely! When you said you were underwhelmed and needed to style it, I disagreed…until I saw the difference. I like all three ways you styled it. Maybe the first one best…?
It turned out great in the end! I like the different styling options, though I think the fuller sleeves would make it hard for me to layer. Have you tried it with your handmade ivory cardigan?
I love the dress with the sweater you knit, but my favorite look is with the belt and blazer. I would raise the belt about an 1”. I doubt I will see any trends.
belts with dresses are very tricky for me. a belt will always fall to a certain point on my torso unless i tighten it so much that i cannot breathe. i prefer to keep breathing so i just deal with it.

Lovely dress, and I agree. It's a versatile piece.
Love all 3 looks but 1 is my fave!
Beautiful dress! Love how you styled it! Looking very cozy.
Oh I like look 3 the best!
Your dress is gorgeous Sara. My vote is for look 2!!!
All three looks are great! Well done on the 'no waste' aspect of this project!
I absolutely love the dress on you. The length is perfect and the sleeves end at your narrowest part. That’s a good look.
Thank you so much. i don't have a problem with the look of 3/4 sleeves--it's more the impracticality that bugs me.
2 and 3 are my favorite. You look amazing in all.

A lovely dress, the first look was my favourite
Great dress, and I enjoyed seeing the different ways you styled it.
I love the first styling best. But all 3 are great!

absolutely! i swear i've made more mistakes with patterns i've actually sewn before than new ones. 😂
Great dress, I like look #2 the best.
Love. It.
Very cute. Inspires me to sew more
Love all 3 looks !
Hi Sara! I love your dress! All looks are great but styling #2 is my favorite. Tfs!

i always try to come up with a few different outfits when i make something new. it helps me to envision how it will work with the rest of my clothes.
I love the dress! I think my favorite look was look 3. This is a fun challenge! Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it!
Looks great
Thanks!
I loved the second look of styling your dress.
thank you for sharing!

how generous of your children! happy sewing

i think it's fine on its own but not special. i think styling takes it up a notch. sorry if i wasn't clear.
You were clear. I just didn't have the vision you clearly had. Well done!
It turned out great in the end! I like the different styling options, though I think the fuller sleeves would make it hard for me to layer. Have you tried it with your handmade ivory cardigan?
not yet but i'm sure i will at some point. thanks for the suggestion!
Add a long cuff, from end of 3/4 sleeve
i wish i could! i didn't have enough fabric left.

Outfit 2 is my favourite! Just gorgeous!
Thank you!
