    I recall pulling off some of these at a tournament that I flew to Canada for in 2004. When it worked it really surprised the opponents and it led to 5-0 games .. when it didn't I got hurt!

    Great stuff as always, this'll be the staple of many teams with MA8 now that we can try and roll MA+ with the saved SPP.
    One thing though, the BB2 footage was rough on the eyes :P

    Thy Ben for this Video. I optimized it for myself to score 1TTD with vanilla human throwers. Works against everything, which doesn't plays the Anker formation, or Anti-TTM perfectly. (okay, Nurgle makes me Struggle with their stackable -1 to catch aura, also as fend, Standfirm or sidestep on the line, but hey, I know what I have to look for.)
    What did I change to perform 1TTD with movement 8?
    - I added 1 Player to the left side of the fielt.
    - After the first blitz/block this player moves up in the square above the blitzing player. (normaly without any tacklezones, because everyone should keep 2 squares of distance, doesn't it?)
    - then the secnd and third block are performed as normal.
    - the third block (the one with the L) removes the tacklezone from the other L-Player. This one is moved next to the ballcarrier (left from him) so that the ballcarrier, and the 2 additional players build this sweet liitle T formation to the enemy and the most left Lineman on your line (at least at the beginning) and then the block follows.
    So my 1TTD by Human catchers is performed by 4 Blocks/blitz, 1 Throw (with reroll), 1 Catch -1 (with reroll), 1 Dodge (with reroll) and 2 GFIs.
    and I don't need my Ogre for that, so If I play against an Anker formation I use this to Score TTM-TDs.
    And if I ruin one block and kill the enemy to early, then it turns out to build a Cage around the ballcarrier realy easy.
    I realy like the Setup from this tutorial for my Human team (or alternative OWA, that works, too.) So big thank you!

    Now do best defense against OTT.
    The best I've got is chevrons with tackle forming a line across the entire pitch. Being Dwarfs helps, tackle applies on most of those dodges.
    Yes, all skills are optional with only a few notable exceptions like frenzy and regenerate, so if you are amazons and want to make the OTT harder change your settings in BB2 so that you have to choose to dodge, normally the game will only ask if you are being pushed to the sideline but you can set it to always ask.

    Wish I had seen this a day ago. I got the ball as a Skaven team with one turn left, and my opponent was just like “yeah there’s no way”

    I've been watching your skaven stuff lately now that I'm playing BB on table top. My friend has Lizardmen though and sets up aggressively on the front line. Tips for dealing with that kind of set up?

    Done it with werewolf on bb2 turn 16. Its amazing when it works!
    No sidestep, no grab, no sprint.
    Now for the real challenge Ben, the Dwarf 1 turner!

    Thanks for warning me about this! So, to definitely avoid it you need your line-ends to have stand firm or side step? Would fend be enough to stop it? And for the cheeky coaches who want to do it all the time, brawler on your blitzer/blockers to reroll the pows into pushes? Does grab help? I thought grab forced you to choose an empty square before you could chain push? I still feel like it's just cruel... Can't we give the opponent a chance? Maybe let them select one player to make a blitz, and if they can push the scorer back out of the end one they then get to have the rest of their turn, like a great try-saving tackle in rugby.

      Sidestep helps too if you have it, you can sidestep in and out where you need

    How do you deploy against this?

    • @Andreas-pt8le
      @Andreas-pt8le 2 года назад +1

      If you prioritise not getting scored against, like last turn of the half after your score on offense, you can do different things. ST 4 on line makes it harder if you have access, sidestep or standfirm makes it impossible to utilize your players for the chain push, you can do backup to the line in a checker pattern to make the blitz harder, you can space your remaining players (at least 5) to force three dodges before the endzone. Mostly you just need to know the tactic they need to do, and force as many dicerolls as possible. The true terror is inherent 13 movement, like +1 movement, leap, sprint and reroll skills to spare on a gutter runner :)

    That was pretty cool but I think if you went right on the second video you wouldn't have needed to dodge?

    • @Andreas-pt8le
      @Andreas-pt8le 2 года назад

      Was a path without dodge, but it required sideways movement and he had none spare. Forward faster :)

    So humans can do this? Let me put this to you also: Humans but built like a skaven team. 4 Catchers, 4 Blitzers, 1 Thrower 2 Linemen. 3RR and an Apoothecary. 2 Extra Dedicated fans. Seems kind of good to me.
