Will Hunt Ford Fiesta - Cadwell Park 2024 - CTCRC BOSS Race 2

2nd overall in BOSS & 1st in class. A good conclusion to my redemption arc after the double DNS at Donington. Turning it into double class win on my home track with double points will put me back in contention for the championship lead. Thank you to everyone for your help and support this weekend.
The weather is always the biggest competition on the track, and this time it proved its force. Overnight rain and high winds stretching the gazebos and cars covers to their limit across the paddock. Every driver & mechanic camping across that field in the middle of the Lincolnshire wolds knew that Sunday would be raced on wet tyres. However, by the time the extended timetable had run its course, many of us were suprised to run onto a dry track . Myself included, so while the rain may have spared the BOSS, Pre93 and Pre03 cars, it certainly pulled a joker card on us. With wet tyres on a mostly-moist track, they quickly went off and it was all down trying to manage them.
