The split screen can also be activated by swiping from one side of the screen to the other side and back. Also the dark mode can be activated through a toggle.
The bell is just letting you know that you are able to adjust the volume Up or Down now while pressing the volume rocker and you can see the display. The 3 dots are pressed to get to volume settings, so you can customize volume on your phone for all you preferred volume.

Turn off the security settings like Fingerprint reader, pattern, pin, password then you should be able to just swipe to open. I prefer the fingerprint reader because to me it's faster and more secure. All I do is touch the reader as I'm picking up the phone and it's open before I start to look at it.

Banging my head on the walls for 2 days now ... is there an easy way to copy or save your contacts from your latest gen of Moto G phones (Power, Play, Stylus, etc) to the SIM card? The only way to back them up seems to be as a vcf file 😁 ... on other Android phones there is a straight way to backup your contacts to the SIM card 😄
I have a message/alert that keeps coming up over everything, including my games. It says, "Please grant mandatory permissions for better experience". I don't know which are mandatory and I want to stop this from showing up, regardless! I have already gone to Settings and turned off ALL Notifications.
The speakers are amazing on this phone. I'm watching throttle house while drunk and my god is it perfect there's speakers at both ends and they the same loudness no matter how high you turn it up. This is an amazing phone when your high or drunk or sober it's great. But seriously stoners and drinks get this phone you won't be disappointed
I use an app called mobizen it's pretty good for screen record in games and doesn't lag the device at all and if you want a clean recording you can even turn on clean mode ☺️

You can also flip your phone twice to open the camera, mine is set to open factory camera when locked and Snapchat when unlocked

You didn't mention anything about the symbols on rt side of screen when turning volume up and down. What do they mean?

On google hit the 3 dots (settings )on the right upper corner, hit the add to home screen option.

I have the moto G stylus 2021 and that is NOT how the 4k video settings are. I had to do something completely different to change to 4k.

When you get the phone there is a notification that says enable wifi calling or something like that
