Thanks for making this video 👍
I'd never heard of the Oura ring until you mentioned it in this vid!
Which sounds like the perfect solution for me (I'd like health and sleep data whilst wearing mechanical watches).

Yep, still have it! Really good but the monthly subscription is a little annoying….sleep data in particular though is excellent 👍🏻

I wore this for a week and really liked it. Was a bit iffy with accuracy in terms of walking distance but other than that it was a great wear

Yeah, it's got loads of potential I reckon. It'll be interesting to see if they stay with the concept. Thanks for your comment :)

Nice review! I'm looking at this watch as well so was happy to find this. How does it show heart rate and oxygen levels? the bottom scale?

How long does the charge holding cell last overtime. This seems like a Seiko kinetic from power storage.

Excellent review! I have the Withings Scanwatch and really like it. But the ring could replace the Miband I need to wear with my regular mechanical watches I really love. Pl direct me to the right ring. Thanks

PS Let me see the vid, ..... i'll comment then!
PS2 Just watched. For those that have the need for such a watch, it's interesting, (auto)charging, titanium, simplicity, design elements are pluses, still, i have no need for this. Good to know though, thanks, be well, cheers.

It's not a mechanical watch. Analog, yes, but not mechanical. It's a quartz watch. The chief innovation is the charging mechanism based on the regular automatic watch mechanism.

Smartwatch with a mechanical charging mechanism for the inbuilt battery didn’t quite fit on the thumbnail 😉

I'm not sure where the market for this one is, if they're okay with no mechanical parts they would go with Samsung or apple watches, if they want mechanical parts, they would go with Rolex and so on.
If they can build a Rolex that can monitors heart rate without increasing the size or without requiring battery 🔋 then that's a game changer.
Which is potentially not their current product here, but a potential future where Rolex bought sequent and incorporated these features into their watches.

Idk this is exactly the kind of watch I’m looking for personally. A self charging smartwatch that tells time & measures health data only. I wouldnt want to spend Rolex money on a smartwatch, the whole point of Rolex’s is how they hold their value. Smartwatch technology is still evolving extremely fast & within a couple years the watch is worthless because the hardware is outdated
