I have the same kind of fixation when it comes to the things I like. When I read something or watch something, I will put it off for as long as I can just so I wouldn't have to see it end and let it go. I'm working on it as well. It's just comforting to know someone experiences this as well.

about poems, my favorite poet is mary oliver, i absolutely adore her, i love her book devotions, but i'd recommend starting with a shorter one, maybe a thousand mornings or felicity

Re-read the sentence. Pause to think and feel. Reading is for leisure so try not to feel unaccomplished because you’re devouring art more mindfully, rather than rushing just to meet a deadline. ❤️ Also I love your videos hope you’ve had a nice day❤️
I am a new follower but I woke up today so tired and feeling like I wanna d!e my life has been so bad and depressing these days so I woke up late and I opened RUclips to watch something while having a small thing to eat and I found your video about the book recommendation for summer and I felt so peaceful watching your video and I explored your whole channel.. honestly it’s so calm, relaxing, peaceful in a way I can’t explain and also it suits me as someone who’s an introvert and loves arts and books so I hope I can see you a lot more (because many RUclipsrs cut for months and it makes me sad) wish you a great summer thanks and I love you 🤍

I've read Ariel by Plath, and I would recommend it if you're looking to get into reading her work! It's definitely kinda dark and a bit problematic at times, but still beautiful. Not really a poetry girl myself, but I enjoyed quite a few of the pieces
ive read sylvia plath poems; she quoted in one of her poems ( laday lazarus) 'dying is an art" and i find it quite beautiful and sensitive. i recommend reading them
I love Sylvia Plath work, but I highly recommend reading either a biography of her life or her unabridged Diaries first as they give a lot of context to her poetry and story!!
