    It might take longer doing it this way but it’s way better than trying to cram the hx behind the radiator with the shroud in the car. Good video 👍🏻

    Oh how do jump wire to run hx pump full time?

    • @CtRacerX
      @CtRacerX  8 месяцев назад +1

      If I recall correctly, I also referred to a specific fuse that you jump and that’ll make the supercharger coolant pump run even with the engine off, so you can purge the air out of the heat exchanger.

    Awesome work, 👌 maybe another video doing the bleeding process to make sure there arent any air pockets in the system, also how much did your AITs lower? Thanks

    • @CtRacerX
      @CtRacerX  2 года назад +1

      IIRC AITs are measured at the MAF- which is PRE-supercharger. What this does is drop the temp of the fluid which attempts to drop post boost temps. And yes, it works like a champ, combined with an expansion tank, you’ll never drop performance with a stock car.

      @@CtRacerX what’s your IAT3 / MAT after this mod

    • @CtRacerX
      @CtRacerX  2 года назад

      @@iAbdosh you need HPTuners to measure IATs; however, in this case, at WOT on a 91* day, I was getting within 35 degrees of ambient AFTER 5 back to back 0-100-0 runs! I also jumped the intercooler pump to run continuously, that definitely helps keep the IATs down.

      @iAbdosh 2 года назад

      @@CtRacerX the MAT was within 35 degrees of ambient?? Sheesh I’m getting 150-170 degree temps after a 60-150 pull with the stock junk

    How is the PLM heat exchanger doing you with ur Temps?

    • @CtRacerX
      @CtRacerX  8 месяцев назад +1

      The heat exchanger did very well in that car, IAT’s were down roughly 3 to 6%.

      I feel you there, my friend! Chevrolet, in theory, makes a decent product as long as you are not wholly reliant upon it. With that said the fan that seems to continuously blow is the result of a blown hundred amp fuse if I remember correctly. I made a video about it in short. If you blow this fuse, the fan will run and the fuse block that you have to replace it with requires an entire change. You can’t just replace the 100 amp sectioncheck out my videos. Let me know if you find that video and are able to sort out the issue. If not hit me back I’ll see what I can do to help you out.
