Feel like people don't appreciate his little art designs of his avatar because that shit lowkey funny to just look away from and then look back to have his skin removed lmao
Seriously though, couldn't even be bothered to unlock another monster before putting this out, like at lvl 5 Vapor I still haven't faced like 3 different monsters yet or had a clue were objective were, and I got Rose to 5 before I started Vapor.
I use to think pillar chase kinda sucks due to how much I was dying as a survivor. It was not an enjoyable experience at first, but after giving it a second chance , buying fuwatti (is that how I spell it?) and learning the skill of S A V I N G S T A M I N A it became a addiction of mine. I’d say pillar chase 2 isn’t very starter friendly, but by learning the mechanics and doing the unbelievable (getting good) it’s one of, if not the B E S T game I ever played (they haven’t added Yummers as a death sound yet tho so imma have to lower the score to a 10/10)
I didn’t really have any issues starting out, with pretty much every game you can expect to start off bad at it and get better later on. Of course so many new players are bad so maybe you are right about it not being beginner friendly, I just think games like deepwoken are way worse for beginners compared to the simplicity of pillar chase 2.
I feel like this mostly just boils down to experience, and the game just. Outright giving you bad information. The lack of information you get as a new person going in completely blind into pillar chase is outstandingly bad. Heck, the game outright tells you that doing objectives LOWERS THE TIME every time you ENTER A GAME. It doesn’t explain how monster chance work, doesn’t explain counterplay to monsters, doesn’t show a map, I don’t even think some survivors know how STAMINA EVEN WORKS due to the lack of information happening (as in, the game doesn’t tell you to pace out your stamina to not get exhausted.) so most of the time whenever a monster kills you, the lack of reception of “what did I do wrong” is usually met with “IDUNNO!” I say this with a nearing gold MX, and I still don’t know how to counter wyst. I had to have a friend explain to me how to counter fogborn for the whole “STARE AT THE FLOOR” technique. TLDR; with pillar chase becoming more popular, I just think it’s early game sucks if you’re completely blind, and it takes a stupid amount of time trying to learn everything in the first place that should be common knowledge.
Im a collectathon defender but even i agree that teamwork here is a bad thing sometimes. Its why i HATE going up against baldi so much. Relying on teammates is like gambling and we all know how things go.
The DBD item comparison is annoying to me, as a DBD player (with only 300 or so hours though) because DBD's survivor items are rather unbalanced in of themselves. Flashlights are a neat gimmick that can come in clutch, but they're niche, same with Flashbangs. Maps are borderline useless, and the only mildly viable Key is the Skeleton Key (The most expensive) because it has the longest duration for its addons (which need to be bought separately, with only one or two good addons available.) But then Medkits and Toolboxes are so damn powerful that most experienced players (...namely Otzdarva) are saying they need to be reworked, especially with certain addon combinations. Survivors can just coordinate and bring four green toolboxes, making the Killer have a far harder time than normal with the only counterplay for them being bringing the strongest perks on their strongest Killer. (The green one, with two certain addons, is the most efficient toolbox in the game and saves a HUGE amount of time on a gen with only one survivor.)
I don't have a lot of experience myself so take my words with a grain of salt, but feom what I've seen Flashlights and Skelton Keys are the only items that you often see since they are the best (often flashlight are on team players and keys on selfish ones), medkits and toolboxes are too niche and everything else is borderline useless unless you built your intire kit around it.
i would argue map offerings (if a survivor brings one) are awful to play against as killer. because they will bring the worst maps for killer, and that becomes even more annoying when you are playing as a killer that has no mobility
@@spider-soniczilla2989this is just not true in medium/higher levels of play medkit and toolboxes are used alot more than flashlights and I dont even remember the last time I saw someone use a key
as someone with. 148 hours. in dbd Skeleton keys are very situational to be useful. You'll also be tunneled if you have a skeleton key if the killer does. Even know. What skeleton keys do I also. Don't think it has a another use other than opening closed hatches
@Creativenameithink The skeleton key does have a second use, that being its add ons. The one I was referring to lets you see the Killer’s aura while holding right-click, and with a duration add on you can get it to 30 seconds of total duration. It’s quite powerful in chase, even if it’s a bit niche.
The fact that he uses mansion as an example of a monster sided map and also tries to review a game with like only 2 hours looking at that vapor is hilarious lol he does know most reviewers actually play the game for a bit of a longer time before making an proper review?
Doomfist tweaks/changes concept 1. slight movement speed buff when walking 2. Speed bost and either less stamina drain or regen when landing a successful hit 3. Slight range buff and now has 3 charges instead of 2 4. Slows down or locks sprint from the monster for a couple seconds or just a simple stun (And obviously the knock back)
doomfist is so funny because if they land a hit on you near a drop off its the most punishing shit ever but countering and punishing them back is as easy as just sidestepping them. i think its a perfect yin and yang. and also entirely useless at the same time
4:22 Dont forget about the Pillars Drainage System map, because even though it is a foggy map, you still have a lot of vision, and can see the monsters from a huge distance
I feel like the hunger for competitive balance in a lot of games has caused it to bleed into games where at least some imbalance is necessary. ofc the survivor items are super simplistic in nature (though still useful) and their only skill is stamina management, this is a game where the monster is supposed to be the only one in a position of power, since you can't choose to immediately play as them like in other games. as an example, if anyone has even just watched videos on DBD before, they should know it has a severe bullying and toxicity problem. and killer matches are already exhausting and frustrating enough when you're able to always play as the killer. imagine having to wait several matches to do so, and then getting zero kills and mercilessly bullied. boom, you just wasted your monster chance and have to grind several more matches for it all over again. when the monster role is a sometimes treat, the survivors need to stay weak, and their only option needs to be strictly avoidance. any sort of significant strength beyond that and you will create some *insufferable* players and an exhausting role that's barely worth it for anybody.
wow thank you for properly explaining and providing valid points instead of burping a bunch of times and acting like ur claims should be common knowledge
As a man who played 486 hours of pillar chase. Hearing someone say medkit is useless is like seeing food not getting eaten, clothes not being wore, books not being read, and pencils not being sharpened.
i have 307 hours of pillar chase (not counting before the new UI) and i completely agree with this you can't even disagree nor agree with this- it's simply just common sense medkit is BY FAR the most important item- most games are not survivable without a first aid kit
4:57 I think what is trying to say is if the monster will not get off your ass it is INCREDIBLY hard to actually heal because the monster can catch up to you in less than 6 seconds in most cases but maybe is it just a skill issue idk
I understand where you're coming from but then again if you're actually good at managing your Stam it won't be hard to really heal nor would it be easy for the monster to catch up in 6 secs bc in most cases the monster will just give up and go for someone else it if you run them for too long there's no way heals should be less than 6 secs that's way too strong 😭
I think I’m close to getting this right. I’ve made concepts for large updates for Pillar Chase 2. Leave constructive criticism here: Pillar Chase 2: Teamwork and Competition Update Concept Overview: PC2 has 4 gamemodes in total; solo monster, double trouble, strongholds, and collectathon. None of these gamemodes feature teamwork. I propose a few new features that promote teamwork, a support interaction, and a new gamemode to coincide. I also propose another gamemode that adds a sort of free-for-all mode in the game. Without further a due, let me get into the features. Teamwork Improvements: I’ve come up with a few ways to improve cooperation with other survivors. I feel that with the medkit, you shouldn’t just have the option to help yourself and you should be able to heal others as well. When holding a medkit out, you can walk up to a player and hold your interact key to heal them instead. This would award 5 coins. Also, when someone is afflicted with a status effect like Glitched, Fearful, Bleeding, or Irradiated, you can hold interact for 2 seconds to transfer the debuff to yourself instead, as a way for people to split damage among them or “tag in.” Carry System: When a player has their bone broken, it’s pretty much a death sentence. What if you had a chance to save that player? Introducing carrying. When someone has a broken bone, another, healthy player can hold interact on the injured player to carry them over the shoulders. In this state, the healthy player’s stamina consumption is increased by 1 and they can’t use items. As for the injured player, they can light the way for the both of them with a flashlight, heal when the carrier is walking, hold Stephano for faster sprinting, or hop off at any point. If they are attacked, the damage would be given to the carrier. If the carrier gets a broken bone, the carried player is forced off. Carrying someone away from a monster rewards coins. If the injured player heals while carried, the carrier gets 5 coins and the now healed player is forced off. The carrier can also drop the injured player at any point. I think this system is perfect way to encourage teamwork. Now, onto the new gamemodes. Head to Head: This a cooperative gamemode heavily inspired by Grief from CoD: Black Ops 2 Zombies. In this, the amount of players is divided into 2 teams. In each team, there is a monster hunting to kill the opposing team’s survivors. All teammates would be highlighted in blue throughout the match. The team that dies off loses. The winners’ coins from that match are doubled. However, this gamemode isn’t just for the monsters to see who’s better; survivors can help their team’s monster. A survivor can highlight an enemy survivor to their team’s monster by holding the interact key/button when near the opposing survivor. The effect would last for 5 seconds. A survivor can also carry enemy survivors to their team’s monster. In the event that both teams have survivors, the one with the most surviving members wins. If they have the same amount of survivors, then it’s a draw. That’s a wrap for this mode, onto the next. Trust Nobody: This is a special mode that’s completely different from the rest in that everyone is your enemy. When a match starts, nobody is initially a monster. After 10 seconds, someone is chosen randomly to be the monster. However, every 30 seconds, someone else becomes the monster And gets to try and kill survivors. This would go until only the current monster is left. The winner would receive an XP bonus of 4000. A match of this mode wouldn’t reset anyone’s monster chance. Ending thoughts: Thanks for reading through this pitch. Hopefully you thought this was at least an interesting concept. Have a good day or night.
Can’t fit em both in one comment so here’s the other: Pillar Chase 2: Survivor Update Concept Overview: Being a survivor in PC2 is meant to be challenging. However, any good player knows that you don’t need upgrades to survive every time. This can make being a survivor become boring rather quickly. Few of these said upgrades actually act as upgrades anyways. I also acknowledge that this is meant so that the monster can kill almost everyone in a match. I propose ditching the upgrades for an even simpler system that doesn’t make survivors strong but instead lets them change up their play styles. Choose Your Survivor: In this new system, you can choose different survivors to play as, each with their own stats and possible effects. These characters would hail from the same places as some monsters and I’ve come up with some original survivors too. Each would be bought with coins and have a few skins for them (they wouldn’t have their own animations for sprinting, idle, etc since the animation sets exist). Every survivor has their own Health, Sprint Speed, Max Stamina, and a Perk (stamina drain would be the same among all survivors). Perhaps it would be a good idea to give them their own sfx for breaking a bone or running out of stamina. Half of the survivors have simply have stat tradeoffs and a minor perk, while the other half is defined by their perk. You could add a toggle if you want to be your avatar instead of the models set for the characters. I propose a few different survivors to begin. Survivors’ Stats: You- Health - 100 Sprint Speed - 23 Max Stamina - 100 Perk - Prepared (items are highlighted for 15 seconds upon the match starting) Store Cost - None; unlocked by default. Description - “It’s you. You have well rounded stats; fair speed, stamina, and health. A good choice for any play style.” Lucas Everett- Health - 85 Sprint Speed - 23 Max Stamina - 115 Perk - Jumpman (can jump regardless of who the monster is. If the monster is MX, jumping CD is cut in half) Store Cost - 1985 Coins Origins - Mario ‘85 (MX) Description - “An innocent soul. Lucas has less health but a higher stamina cap. He’s good for baiting or leading chases.” Miles “Tails” Prower- Health - 70 Sprint Speed - 26 Max Stamina - 75 Perk - Danger Vision (when someone dies, see the monster for 6 seconds) Store Cost - 2011 Coins Origins - Sonic The Hedgehog (EXE/Sonic.EXE) Description - “A two-tailed fox. Tails sacrifices some health and stamina for an increase in stamina and a very useful perk. He’s good for those who prefer to avoid monsters at all times.” It’s a Bully- Health - 135 Sprint Speed - 22 Max Stamina - 80 Perk - Clarity (increases your range of vision) Store Cost - 2018 Coins Origins - Baldi’s Basics in Education and Learning (Baldi) Description - “A burly blockade. Bully offers generally worse sprinting in exchange for a chunky health increase. He’s a good pick for people who like to tank high DMG attacks.” Mr. Roulette- Health - 100 Sprint Speed - 23 Max Stamina - 100 Perk - Gamble (when not holding an item, hold RT/R2/Left Click to roll a pair of dice. Getting a 6 or lower will take away 10 health, reduce sprinting speed to 19, and reduce his max stamina by 10. Getting a 7 or higher will heal 10 health, increase sprinting speed to 25, and give back 20 stamina, NOT max stamina. Both of these effects last for 10 seconds. If you get snake eyes, your bone will break regardless of health and you’ll lose 20 health. If you get a 12, you will be given a Doom’s Gauntlet and heal 15 health. This ability of his will have a cooldown of 30 seconds and the CD won’t run down while whatever effect is active) Store Cost - 2225 Coins Origins - He’s my original character Description - A dapper dealer. Roulette’s play style revolves around chance; do you want to take the chance of injury for a useful boost? “He’s a good choice for casino enjoyers.” Pico- Health - 100 Sprint Speed - 21 Max Stamina - 90 Perk - Adrenaline (being chased will increase his his sprint speed to 24 for the duration of it. 7 seconds after taking damage and only if you’re not being chased, he will start regenerating 1 health per second. When healing, he will make a quiet yet audible breaching sound to indicate. However, he cannot use medkits) Store Cost - 2024 Coins Origins -Newgrounds/Pico’s Schoolhouse A smooth merc. “Pico is meant to be a somewhat faster paced character. He’s meant for those who like the chase or are unsure of when they should heal.” Garn47- Health - 90 Sprint Speed - 28 Max Stamina - 100 Perk - Uncontrollable (instead of sprinting, holding the sprint key/button will make him accelerate from walk speed to his sprint speed. However, like in the game Garn47, he will have very low friction; this means turning is rough and he loses speed when doing it. Running straight into a wall at max speed will end his current sprint. His movement should also be extremely loud) Store Cost - 1999 Coins Origins - Garn47 Description - “A living meme. Garn47 has a strange play style that lets him be useful only in the hands of better players. He’s the best choice for players familiar with the maps.” Blinky- Health - 90 Sprint Speed - 21 Max Stamina - 100 Perk - Camouflage (stay still for 3 seconds to become mostly transparent. Moving or taking damage would remove the effect. You’d still be highlighted by the monster and receive passive coins) Origins: Pac-Man (WYST) Description - “A bashful ghost. Blinky is ideally for hiding in plain sight. He’s the right one if you want stealth as your setup.” Skins: I also came up with a few different skin ideas for survivors, albeit very basic. Lucas-Fire - color palette changed to Fire Mario/Luigi’s from SMB1. Lucas-Modern - color palette changed to Luigi’s current. Lucas-Enemy - color palette changed to MX’s. Lucas-Heart - color palette changed to Mario’s from SMW and his head is upside down. Based on The Coronation Day (The Forest King). “Tails”-Dead - color palette changed to Tails.exe’s. “Tails”-Boom - wears the belt and goggles seen in Sonic Boom’s version of Tails. “Tails”-Super - color palette changed to Super Tails and his fur glows. “Tails”-Trauma - his tails and left arm are missing. Bully-Teacher - color palette changed to Baldi’s. Bully-Swap - orange and blue colors swap places. Bully-Principal- color palette changed to Principal of the Thing. Bully-31718 - becomes the prototype AI face seen as an easter egg from Baldi’s Basics. Mr. Roulette-Pimp - suit and top hat color changes to purple. Mr. Roulette-Wedded - suit and top hat color changes to white. Mr. Roulette-Devious - suit color changes to crimson and his top hat is replaced by devil horns. Mr. Roulette-DS Dealer - his suit becomes Dealer Luigi’s (from SM64DS/NSMB) and his top hat is replaced by with a green cap. Pico-BF - shirt, pants, and shoes turn into BF’s. Pico-Merry - entire outfit changes to his Christmas wear. Pico-Failure - has a knife in his chest and blood on his clothes like in his game over. Pico-Classic - changes to how he originally appeared in Newgrounds. Garn47-Game Over - palette is changed to red like in his game over screen. Garn47-Garn10 - color palette is changed to purple. Garn47-Warn53 - color palette is changed to yellow. Garn47-Garn46 - becomes Garn46. Blinky-Inky - palette is changed to blue. Blinky-Pinky - palette is changed to pink. Blinky-Clyde - palette is changed to orange. Blinky-Afraid - palette turns blue like when Pac-Man eats a power pellet. Ending Thoughts: That’s a wrap for this concept. Hopefully you at least thought that this was an interesting idea. Thanks for taking the time to read though and I hope you have a great day/night.
I think the idea of adding teamwork things into solo an double is stupid because There is already teamwork stuff, if people do their objectives then winning is easier so there's already a teamwork part on it but it doesn't sacrifice the chance of winning solo anyway
About doom gauntlet, no doubt it sucks ass but youre supposed to use it as last resort (both you and monster has no stamina but hes close as hell to you, you can get a headstart by pushing him to recover more stamina before he gets close, or if a monster has a very big cooldown or isnt prepared for a dg hit while you messed up somehow (which is a way harder window to use dg unscathed), i actually got mimic away from me when i was tired, saved me. Other than that its dogshit but its like a test if you deserve a second life if you actually find the moment to use it, which is cool to me despite being so useless
Pillar chase is the only game I don't feel cringe playing or I feel like I am playing a mobile game on a PC. A huge majority of games on Roblox suck ass. Hell I drop one of my favorite multiplayer game that I played for years. Pillar chase is just so addicting and simple and when you get good at it oh man it's yummers and the devs have passion ( never thought I would ever love a Roblox game but life is full of surprises huh) and you one of my favorite RUclipsrs.
@@JackO_kidplosion oh I mean that when I play a game on Roblox that feels low quality I feel cringe like I should be playing something better lol it's a personally thing.
@@Unknown-360x ah I see thanks for the clarification. Honestly the word cringe has been used so much to the point it’s lost it’s entire meaning is just has been turned into another way of saying the word “Bad”
@@JackO_kidplosion dude I feel the same especially when like for example when you like a show a lot and someone doesn't and call it cringe like okay why is it you can just say you don't like that lol.
Yeah, this review was TERRIBLE. i feel like he didnt research the game at all before making this video nor does he have experience with the game to make this video. I felt like the video was just rage bait but he was serious.
uncle samsonites boyfriend vs a person who has only a level 5 vapor and no other unlocked characters and thinks theyre good enough to give a review on the game
felt like commenting on this with my thoughts about the game 0:52 gotta love how they were planning to add survivor classes earlier in the game's development announcements then scrap them over balancing reasons when they could've rebalanced monsters and survivors to be on par with the classes update but tbf survivors are already op with their stamina management 1:50 ye with less viable monsters like ao oni you may be capable of killing a survivor through chasing with those abilities and stats but it'll still take time through traveling, regenerating, and attacking and with how short rounds can be along with the player server limit it may still end up in a loss 4:50 i heavily agree with this the medkit heals 65 allowing the survivor to outheal certain monsters during a chase so the it should only be used when you gain far distance during a chase with certain monsters or to heal out of chase 5:20 theres nothing stopping the monster from attacking you and just weak in general 5:54 these are 2 completely different games 😒 7:08 you can buy up to 3 perks so making them all good would be op with certain loadouts like if i got tanky, flimsy, and runner survivors are already op enough 7:21 that feels like pay 2 win tbh you can just buy thousands of coins to get the same build from up there 9:04 objectives are simple just run to them and hold E the removed 30 seconds is alot and with how much time it can take with both one competent survivor and monster in a chase i thought the monster chance gained from doing objectives was removed cus it made players active in rounds a bit more then go back to being afk till they're monster 13:54 and i am Solqonn
1.Players being "op" is based on skill of the said player AND skill of monster, cause monsters also can use stamina management to catch up to players. And with classes it would be just ass,its allready good without them 2.full servers gives monster OVER 3 MINUTES to wipe or kill players, and its allready more then enough for skilled monsters. 3.yea i agree too 4.Your kinda weak,if you aren't skilled enough, but if you know how monsters works and how map build, you acctually pretty heavy target to a monster 5.Yup. They are. 6.Yea but buying those will cost you more then 1K coins,so good luck getting them. 7.There is litterally 0 gamepasses that gives you coins. 8.Each task removes like 8 seconds or smth, and again just how blade said, they will be revamped 9.Go take a piss now
@ you can rebalance it when classes are added to be on par and stamina management doesn’t require that much skill and makes going against less viable monsters easier even if you manage to kill an experienced player you probably taken a long time and with how short rounds can get then ur probably losing
Love pillar chase n all but the only thing I kinda dislike about it is that survivor gameplay becomes agonizing while trying to level up monsters. Jukes are fun n all and you'll have a really good match every one in a while but the rest of the time you just pray you can get the monster chance you need and if a monster kills you that means less monster chance and instead of it making me nervous or making the gameplay more enjoyable it just makes me mad or whatever because I have to go through MORE survivor gameplay. It may just be because Im playing the game wrong or whatnot but I cannot play it for more than 20 minutes at a time. But aside from all that I really enjoy the game itself the concept is very fun and monster gameplay is EXTREMELY satisfying but yeah.
Yeah I've reached the stage where I play for monster chance rather than to win. On pretty much every map you can finish an objective set in the first minute and then you're just kinda waiting around for the rest of the game.
Ahh yes... A crossover that we got but never needed that is just... Peak List tier guy vs Dumb criticism guy THE MOST EPIC BATTLE OF ALL DAY!!!! AAAAAAAAA
"the game is killer sided" *proceeds to go in the only dead end in baldi's map and then make a review of the game by the experience of a level 5 vapor and no other characters unlocked and used*
Thank you so much for making this video, I was bad at pillar chase 2 the first time and I needed the slap on the face to make me realize this game was peak 😭
The only piece of criticism I would give to Pillar Chase 2 is trying to get the monsters. They can take hours to get just by grinding, and I would think a mission system would make the grinding less annoying. But other than that, I still love the game.
As someone who played DbD for a couple years, having the asymmetric game be more “fair” to the survivors usually means 1 survivor can run you the entire game, making killer the worst part of the game. I’ve ran killers on PC2 for about 1 min to 2 mins, but thats because the killers either have no catch up power, arent using the killer correctly or its FUCKING ECLIP-
Assuming he hadn’t bought items, perks, and/or cosmetic stuff and didn’t buy coins with robux, the fact he has 1173 coins and hasn’t bought a monster implies he has, I think, only around 3 to 4 hours of play time when making this review. He has barely any experience under his belt and thought he knew enough about the game to make a review when in reality he has probably around 10 games of vapor, around 100 survivor games (kinda being generous with that number), and quickly skimmed through the wiki to know what certain items did and what collectathon and strongholds were. And then he puts an apology comment on the video for how poorly made it is as if he somehow didn’t expect this outcome to happen
I love how he put monsters can one shot you when those one shots are either really hard to effectively pull off on purpose (MX), or are super situational (Fuwatti + Ao Oni) and given how little time he put in I refuse to believe he ran into either one
“This game is bad” -haven’t even played for more than an hour Edit: also monsters SHOULD feel unstoppable because their monsters things with no resoning that only think about killing so running away and possibly surviving them feel really cool like the last person in a horror movie the monster is delt with (for now) and you feel accomplished.
Yes exactly this is one of the reasons why playing as monster is just better. The feeling of power is what makes it fun (Also doomfist gauntlet exists but that doesn’t do much)
as someones who about to make a video on pillar chase, a fan of mine sent me this video and frankly these are all valid points you are making. I think there are flaws in the game, but not because I cant play and I think there's a lot of value with being critical of something you love. I look forward to seeing more of these types of eye opening videos from you and others.
Thought this wouldn't be that good of a video since I saw review, but wow, I've never been more offended before in my life, that this person hasn't even bought a monster and he is trying to tell the developers what to do
I literally paused the video when he said that the monsters are balanced an said "no way he thinks rosemary is even close to me or forest king" I unpaused the video to have what I said repeated His claim of monsters being balanced is so bs anyone with even a silver rank of any paid character thinks the exact same thing
I will always retain this stance on medkits: THEY ARE PERFECTLY BALANCED. They heal a significant chunk of hp in a decently short amount of time, but as a drawback they are loud af, stop you from sprinting, and prevent stamina regen, this makes them good but allows players to be punished for using it at a bad time.
I can agree with what you said on the adding new monsters and maps part. For me, there is only so many times I can play with something until I eventually get bored with it. That's why I hope they add some maps soon so I can maybe save myself from fully giving up with the game
Mr. Epic Tierlist Guy vs. Guy that probably needs an upgrade every round to not die instantly and has the worst skill ever This guy needs to learn stamina management and basically the entire game because he absolutely SUCKS (of course I'm referring to guy that probably needs an upgrade every round to not die instantly and has the worst skill ever)
"and its a pretty good concept like dead by daylight" I KNOW WHERE YOY LIVE in all seriousness, im late to commenting but this vid made me laugh alot, good job
Pillar Chase 2 is fun, but it's not perfect, but anything interesting never truly is, sure you can make improvements and reworks so the game doesn't fall into obscurity and it'll always attract a specific audience, but at the end of the day YOU FORGOT TO MENTION NILOTICUS 2:25
Another upload from niipps, when i initially watched the review before this upload, i was seething at the teeth. Most of this guys points made no sense on top of the fact he’s…level 5 vapor(which is like 10 games😭)
tbh, the average experience in the first 6 hours of playtime was so hard to understand, i had to watch an hour of random tips and tricks, totally worth it im hooked now
Update: Sad noises for MX players, as the bug for MX being able to fly off the screen when on his winning screen was recently patched, meaning you can no longer do it. (NOTE: MAYBE it's possible to keep doing it, although based on my own personal attempts, it's failed. :c)
I feel like not enough people realize everyone was lied to for the upgrades, like how tanky says it gives 25 health but it gives 35, you actually can have 15 extra stamina for runner, but it doesn't drain faster. So it's viable. I guess
ngl for a moment i thought this was some weird collab review and the two were just making counter arguements against eachother. i just read the description and saw the link to the original video lol.
I went from having this guy's mindset to pillar chase 2 being my favorite game It really does just require learning and understanding the game to be fun Also as a gold springtrap hearing that all monsters are balanced equally made me bleed internally
It's so weird seeing people compare PC 2 to DBD. It's not objective oriented. If anything I feel PC2 feels more like the original BtD (By Rachjumper) main objective is to just survive with some aspects from BtD: Redux (fleshed out slashers, items and other stuff) In fact part of why I like playing PC2 over what is StN (Survive the Night) is that it's simple and fun. It's nothing complex like DBD. Just go in, survive and eventually kill the survivors. I miss BtD Redux so seeing a game be similar to it even if unintentional, I grew attached to this game
dbd is objective oriented?? you legit have to turn on generators with or without teammates then open a door to escape, dead by daylight is by no means complex.
@@Millkyywayy Yeah, you're all working toward 1 objective. Power the gens and escape. I should've phrased that better with dbd's complexity by referring to the killers and their mechanics. Adding extra side stuff to do to either survive or weaken the killer (Pigs traps, Pinheads cube, etc)
okay im seeing a lot of people just not listen to the warning thing i put in the beginning and talk shit about the guy on his video

I use to think pillar chase kinda sucks due to how much I was dying as a survivor. It was not an enjoyable experience at first, but after giving it a second chance , buying fuwatti (is that how I spell it?) and learning the skill of
S A V I N G S T A M I N A
it became a addiction of mine.
I’d say pillar chase 2 isn’t very starter friendly, but by learning the mechanics and doing the unbelievable (getting good) it’s one of, if not the B E S T game I ever played (they haven’t added Yummers as a death sound yet tho so imma have to lower the score to a 10/10)
lol that was also my first impression of the game
actually reading further thats exactly how i got into this game wtf
This is exactly how I got into the game...
@@ChickenNugget7 I’m too broke for deep woken 😔
Tbh they should add death screen tips for countering monsters, specifically and generally

The DBD item comparison is annoying to me, as a DBD player (with only 300 or so hours though) because DBD's survivor items are rather unbalanced in of themselves. Flashlights are a neat gimmick that can come in clutch, but they're niche, same with Flashbangs. Maps are borderline useless, and the only mildly viable Key is the Skeleton Key (The most expensive) because it has the longest duration for its addons (which need to be bought separately, with only one or two good addons available.)
But then Medkits and Toolboxes are so damn powerful that most experienced players (...namely Otzdarva) are saying they need to be reworked, especially with certain addon combinations.
Doomfist tweaks/changes concept
1. slight movement speed buff when walking
2. Speed bost and either less stamina drain or regen when landing a successful hit
3. Slight range buff and now has 3 charges instead of 2
4. Slows down or locks sprint from the monster for a couple seconds or just a simple stun
(And obviously the knock back)
Honestly they could just change it make to its original to make it stronger, though your idea might be more useful.

Dont forget about the Pillars Drainage System map, because even though it is a foggy map, you still have a lot of vision, and can see the monsters from a huge distance

I think what is trying to say is if the monster will not get off your ass it is INCREDIBLY hard to actually heal because the monster can catch up to you in less than 6 seconds in most cases
but maybe is it just a skill issue idk
I understand where you're coming from but then again if you're actually good at managing your Stam it won't be hard to really heal nor would it be easy for the monster to catch up in 6 secs bc in most cases the monster will just give up and go for someone else it if you run them for too long there's no way heals should be less than 6 secs that's way too strong 😭

I think I’m close to getting this right. I’ve made concepts for large updates for Pillar Chase 2. Leave constructive criticism here:
Pillar Chase 2: Teamwork and Competition Update Concept
Overview: PC2 has 4 gamemodes in total; solo monster, double trouble, strongholds, and collectathon.
Also, when someone is afflicted with a status effect like Glitched, Fearful, Bleeding, or Irradiated, you can hold interact for 2 seconds to transfer the debuff to yourself instead, as a way for people to split damage among them or “tag in.”
Carry System: When a player has their bone broken, it’s pretty much a death sentence.
Can’t fit em both in one comment so here’s the other:
Pillar Chase 2: Survivor Update Concept
Overview: Being a survivor in PC2 is meant to be challenging.

Max Stamina - 100
Perk - Uncontrollable (instead of sprinting, holding the sprint key/button will make him accelerate from walk speed to his sprint speed. but tbf survivors are already op with their stamina management
1:50
ye with less viable monsters like ao oni you may be capable of killing a survivor through chasing with those abilities and stats but it'll still take time through traveling, regenerating, and attacking
and with how short rounds can be along with the player server limit it may still end up in a loss
4:50 i heavily agree with this the medkit heals 65 allowing the survivor to outheal certain monsters during a chase so the it should only be used when you gain far distance during a chase with certain monsters or to heal out of chase
5:20 theres nothing stopping the monster from attacking you and just weak in general
5:54 these are 2 completely different games 😒
7:08 you can buy up to 3 perks so making them all good would be op with certain loadouts like if i got tanky, flimsy, and runner
survivors are already op enough
7:21
that feels like pay 2 win tbh you can just buy thousands of coins to get the same build from up there
9:04 objectives are simple just run to them and hold E
the removed 30 seconds is alot and with how much time it can take with both one competent survivor and monster in a chase
i thought the monster chance gained from doing objectives was removed cus it made players active in rounds a bit more then go back to being afk till they're monster
13:54 and i am Solqonn
1.Players being "op" is based on skill of the said player AND skill of monster, cause monsters also can use stamina management to catch up to players. And with classes it would be just ass,its allready good without them
2.full servers gives monster OVER 3 MINUTES to wipe or kill players, and its allready more then enough for skilled monsters.
3.yea i agree too
4.Your kinda weak,if you aren't skilled enough, but if you know how monsters works and how map build, you acctually pretty heavy target to a monster
5.Yup. They are.
6.Yea but buying those will cost you more then 1K coins,so good luck getting them.
7.There is litterally 0 gamepasses that gives you coins.
8.Each task removes like 8 seconds or smth, and again just how blade said, they will be revamped
9.Go take a piss now
@ you can rebalance it when classes are added to be on par and stamina management doesn’t require that much skill and makes going against less viable monsters easier even if you manage to kill an experienced player you probably taken a long time and with how short rounds can get then ur probably losing
But aside from all that I really enjoy the game itself the concept is very fun and monster gameplay is EXTREMELY satisfying but yeah.
my feelings exactly
Yeah I've reached the stage where I play for monster chance rather than to win.
On pretty much every map you can finish an objective set in the first minute and then you're just kinda waiting around for the rest of the game.
real
me when the monster randomly appears and my stamina takes three years to increase for some fucking reason
9:29 your devouring of your microphone was so powerful youtube gave me an ad before it destroyed my pc LMAO
6:25 Tinky Winky took Niixx's body
Ahh yes...
A crossover that we got but never needed that is just...

List tier guy vs Dumb criticism guy
THE MOST EPIC BATTLE OF ALL DAY!!!!
AAAAAAAAA
"the game is killer sided" *proceeds to go in the only dead end in baldi's map and then make a review of the game by the experience of a level 5 vapor and no other characters unlocked and used*
1:29 why is uncle samsonite so badass
7:48 “so it’s kinda boring to say the least” “BLUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH 👹👺”
Thank you so much for making this video, I was bad at pillar chase 2 the first time and I needed the slap on the face to make me realize this game was peak 😭
Niixx after being called tierlist guy 13:57
8:53 bro really said, "I think it eliminates 30 seconds from the clock" dawg both objectives add up to 14 seconds after completing them 💀
It's kinda sad how people agree with the other guy (basically everyone on social platforms like tiktok)
The only piece of criticism I would give to Pillar Chase 2 is trying to get the monsters. They can take hours to get just by grinding, and I would think a mission system would make the grinding less annoying. But other than that, I still love the game.
2:50 Uncle Samsonite's Uncle's Wrath ability:
Uncle's wrath doesn't slow you down
It just makes you unable to run
MX powerhop (only if the survivors misses)
@@Certified_Marvin_M0ment That's a stun.
@@MikeGoob Which forces you to slow down...
Inkfell: *casually kicks door down*
(Yeah new monster came out and fits perfectly.)
And then he puts an apology comment on the video for how poorly made it is as if he somehow didn’t expect this outcome to happen
tierlist guy: random black tophat greenshirt man
THE COOLER tierlist guy: Niixx
Niixx is my new favorite pngtuber 💅💅
I love how he put monsters can one shot you when those one shots are either really hard to effectively pull off on purpose (MX), or are super situational (Fuwatti + Ao Oni) and given how little time he put in I refuse to believe he ran into either one
“This game is bad” -haven’t even played for more than an hour
Edit: also monsters SHOULD feel unstoppable because their monsters things with no resoning that only think about killing so running away and possibly surviving them feel really cool like the last person in a horror movie the monster is delt with (for now) and you feel accomplished.
Yes exactly this is one of the reasons why playing as monster is just better. The feeling of power is what makes it fun
(Also doomfist gauntlet exists but that doesn’t do much)
3:11 The way u say that is a masterpiece of a line bc of the style, "BTW it's small as SHET"
ngl, Pillar Chase 2 is _kinda_ similar to popular multiplayer asymmetrical survival horror game named Pillar Chase 2
😮
Truly shocking.
I’m so glad someone covered this review because the entire time my brain was melting into mush while watching it
Dude literally got level 5 vapor and called it quits 😭
😂
*plays game
*gets survivor
*dies
*decides monster is better immediately
8:26 this is what happens when you don’t play a game long enough to review it….. I think.
as someones who about to make a video on pillar chase, a fan of mine sent me this video and frankly these are all valid points you are making. I think there are flaws in the game, but not because I cant play and I think there's a lot of value with being critical of something you love. I look forward to seeing more of these types of eye opening videos from you and others.
Thought this wouldn't be that good of a video since I saw review, but wow, I've never been more offended before in my life, that this person hasn't even bought a monster and he is trying to tell the developers what to do
We all say in unison, "Thank you Niixx" We then spontaneously explode
New player vs old player ahhh video
the reviewer dude reminds me of that one game journalist who couldn't get past the tutorial in cuphead and got mad
I literally paused the video when he said that the monsters are balanced an said "no way he thinks rosemary is even close to me or forest king" I unpaused the video to have what I said repeated
His claim of monsters being balanced is so bs anyone with even a silver rank of any paid character thinks the exact same thing
I will always retain this stance on medkits:
THEY ARE PERFECTLY BALANCED. They heal a significant chunk of hp in a decently short amount of time, but as a drawback they are loud af, stop you from sprinting, and prevent stamina regen, this makes them good but allows players to be punished for using it at a bad time.
Dude why the fuvk am i laughing when he just makes ranom loud noise i cant😭😭
I can agree with what you said on the adding new monsters and maps part. For me, there is only so many times I can play with something until I eventually get bored with it. That's why I hope they add some maps soon so I can maybe save myself from fully giving up with the game
Mr. Epic Tierlist Guy vs. Guy that probably needs an upgrade every round to not die instantly and has the worst skill ever
This guy needs to learn stamina management and basically the entire game because he absolutely SUCKS (of course I'm referring to guy that probably needs an upgrade every round to not die instantly and has the worst skill ever)
bro got vapor to level 5 and decided to make a review
3:54 As a rosemary main i can confirm it is impossible to win in schoolhouse
But it's possible to win with Rosemary on eclipse!
Right?
I saw someone with a level 44 Rosemary do that
Yes also I main fuwatti now (Planning to get EXE cuz I like trapper killers)
"and its a pretty good concept like dead by daylight" I KNOW WHERE YOY LIVE
in all seriousness, im late to commenting but this vid made me laugh alot, good job
This feels like something that happened in the Godzilla community with a CERTAIN content creator
I was boutta say “that shoebill stork pfp guy” but Dr skipper isnt a content creator JUST cause of that horrendous godzilla video
Another upload from niipps, when i initially watched the review before this upload, i was seething at the teeth. Most of this guys points made no sense on top of the fact he’s…level 5 vapor(which is like 10 games😭)
tbh, the average experience in the first 6 hours of playtime was so hard to understand, i had to watch an hour of random tips and tricks, totally worth it im hooked now
13:22 ah yes my favorite game "player chase" 😭
I can kinda see why he doesn’t get the objectives thing as it isn’t really stated anywhere that doing objectives gives you monster chance
0:37 fucking killed me lol
I am in ground now because of this
Update:
Sad noises for MX players, as the bug for MX being able to fly off the screen when on his winning screen was recently patched, meaning you can no longer do it.
(NOTE: MAYBE it's possible to keep doing it, although based on my own personal attempts, it's failed. :c)
Kiss me Niixx
*Sigh* Time to make a fanfic. /j !!!!
Pigman is back

MAKE IT AND MY LIFE IS YOUR
Id enjoy your stream
I feel like not enough people realize everyone was lied to for the upgrades, like how tanky says it gives 25 health but it gives 35, you actually can have 15 extra stamina for runner, but it doesn't drain faster. So it's viable. I guess
this feels like a froakieleaderx video on low budget
It does feel like that-
But actually uploads
But I honestly haven't see much of frokie
frokie is dead on yt
ngl for a moment i thought this was some weird collab review and the two were just making counter arguements against eachother. i just read the description and saw the link to the original video lol.
Babe wake up Niixx just posted on his RUclips 🗣️🗣️🗣️
I went from having this guy's mindset to pillar chase 2 being my favorite game
It really does just require learning and understanding the game to be fun
Also as a gold springtrap hearing that all monsters are balanced equally made me bleed internally
It's so weird seeing people compare PC 2 to DBD. It's not objective oriented.
If anything I feel PC2 feels more like the original BtD (By Rachjumper) main objective is to just survive with some aspects from BtD: Redux (fleshed out slashers, items and other stuff)
In fact part of why I like playing PC2 over what is StN (Survive the Night) is that it's simple and fun.
@@Millkyywayybuddy ol pal what a blissful soul
@@Millkyywayy Yeah, you're all working toward 1 objective. Power the gens and escape.
I should've phrased that better with dbd's complexity by referring to the killers and their mechanics. Adding extra side stuff to do to either survive or weaken the killer (Pigs traps, Pinheads cube, etc)
@@Millkyywayygen perk and skill check perk gonna tell you a different story entirely

Ngl if piller chase had enough players to have an ranked match making system surviors most likely will win
i have a feeling bro died to like a Forest King or Samsonite and decided "THIS GAME SUCKS, SURVIVOR SUCKS, IM GONNA WRITE A BAD REVIEW ON THIS GAME"
