Ed Oneill was on Married with Children for 11 years and then Modern Family for 11 years also, that's success.
Kelsey Grammer had 11 seasons in Cheers and 11 seasons in Frasier in the same role =;-)
My friend was one of the many producers of Doogie. He said NPH was a good kid. Very professional.
Imaginary friend.
@@rockd7684 California, baby. You need to get famous friends too.
The wave analogy was great
I remembered him from Doogie Howser and couldn't believe when he reemerged on How I met Your Mother as the sleazy womanizer with all the best lines. But when he did Harold & Kumar as the most depraved drug addict-badass in the world NPH became a legend.
I concur with all of this.
He most likely got the part on HIMYM BECAUSE of his role in Harold & Kumar, which came first.
@@BrianNIL Yep. I believe the HIMYM creators even said that Harold & Kumar was part of what brought Neil onto their radar, as they originally pictured the Barney character being more of a "Chris Farley type" of person. It's hard to imagine that now, as Neil seemed to be the perfect Barney!
@@trevgreg2 possibly the producers lied b/c it was really Undercover Brother that they watched? hmm
wait for it...
Much respect for many reasons for Neil. Thank you and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to Neil and family.
He is looking SO good! And was excellent in the drama It's a Sin this year x
He’s so fantastic. 🥰
Does anyone have the link to the full interview?
I love Neill Patrick Harris
How is that almost unheard of?
Ed O'Neill
Julia Louis Dreyfus
Tony Shaloub
Bob Newhart
Tim Allen
Bill Cosby
Suzanne Somers
John Ritter
Ted Danson
Andy Griffith
Ron Howard
Lucille Ball
Jerry Stiller
Fred Gwynne
Especially Ed O'Neill. Both his shows ran for 11 seasons over 10 years. He's swimming in royalties.
Cosby had a bunch of shows. I hope he rots in jail.
@@titusmccarthy ...he's out of jail you nimrod...
They are referring to him being so young for the first show, non of your examples were on TV as children.
@@HypnoSwag What show did he do as a child?
I didn't know Steven Bochco did Doogie Howser, that probably has a lot to do with James Sikking from Hill Street Blues getting the part of his father.
Don't forget Starship Troopers!
He still looks so youthful.
You were brilliant in Movie you made with Keanu! Trying not to spoil it ,but damn
Reminds me of Jason Newsted. Doogie Howser was a good show idea, I am surprised no one has done a re boot or similar show.
They launched a new-ish version on Disney+ earlier this year... Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. The only similarity is the name really, but Steven Bochco's son is an executive producer.
BARNEY!!!!
Howard! Let him tell the story!
You must be new here...
Love me some NPH!!!!
lawyers and doctors in that family ha ha
I still think he was amazing in Harold and Kumar..
He's funny as hell in that.
I wonder if he beat out any big names for Doogie?
brad pitt and tom cruise
oh and margot robbie
Matrix Resurrection
Harold and Kumar. He stole those movies.
Why Neil look older than Howard
