Thank-you Sir...helped me alot... Hi from. Alamo TX.
How do you determine it’s the ecu versus the connector? Also why did you check the ecu and how did you determine it was that?
That’s insane I run it same problem today
So from the fuse box its 48 15A which the manual book
Describe
it as PCM VPWR4? Or no
Where you send it to get repaired I have one right now needs to be done
I have the same problem with my lancer rn I cant figure it out 😭
I got the same issue with my 2019 ford explorer , where can i get the diagram for my explorer
Hello, I have a 2012 flex, melted coil number 6. Replaced all coil packs and spark plug (they were only 6 months old). Still 0356, had pcm sent for repair they said it only needed some reprogramming, still 0356. Changed #6 connector, still 0356. Noid light is constant. I just ordered a wiring diagram. Please help. I’m stuck.
So did the ecu fix the issue on the Flex? I have a '12 taurus doing the exact same thing.
Yes. It did. I can get them rebuilt if you can't find one
@@JaboTheMechanic where do you send them.
Yes what else could the issue be, replaced ignition coil with new one and that basically shit itself. Something else is wrong.
What if the pcm was replaced and it did it again? Had pcm redone again and dis it again.... We ae on round 3
I did the same thing then realized it wasn’t the pcm I’m thinking it’s the wiring like he showed in the video. I was out my car for three months waiting on the computer then I got here and thought they didn’t fix it properly sent it back out revived it again still not right or at least I thought. I’ve changed so many parts now on my 2008 Ford edge and if it’s just a bad wire ima be pissed but happy if it fixed it. Did you ever get your problem figured out and fixed? If so what was it?
I have a misfire on cylinder 5 and everytime I put a ignition coil in it burns it out everytime what could cause that ?
Did u ever know the problemV
So it was the ECM that caused the coils to burn?
Yes
@@JaboTheMechanic thanks for your reply. Did it throw a code indicating that the ECM was bad?
No it didn't. It threw a cylinder missfire code only
@@JaboTheMechanic same problem on 15 ford focus that just came into my shop
@@archaicmotors4331 Recently bought a 2014 Focus and running into the issue of cyl 1 frying ignition coils and popping my F38 fuse. Did it end up being the ECM/PCM?
You're blocking the multi metre the whole time 🤦🏼♂️
Wasn't that the PCM? The PCM and the ECM are two separate modules right?
negative the ecm and pcm are the same module, just some manufacturers call them either an engine control module or a powertrain control module.
Umm ummmm ummmm
