have a g35 , brought at least 3 to 4 crankshaft sensor & they all went & my car kept stalling bad because of my electrical problems. this video was really helpful because now i know what to do.

this might help someone: I was having a high idle issue, I was being told could be a vacuum leak could be bad throttle body could be bad maf sensor blah blah. Changed my battery, did a idle relearn, fixed.
I had this problem. Had to sell the car. 212k miles. Was burning the coils packs after driving a mile. A mechanic told me its a ecu or groundin problem. By then I was feld up.
Hi so just by putting new ground cable it solved your problem because my car have similar symptoms my idle Is bad I replaced 2 mass airflow sensors.

Some electrical components like the ignition coils discharge their excess energy through the engine block preventing the original wire harness to operate correctly by discharging its excess energy through it as well. By adding the grounds you are adding more material (connecting engine to chassis) in order to dissipate better the electrical load.
Adding the ground will definetly help with the mass airflow sensor problem, just make sure you dont have additional wiring problems that may be explicitly causing that.

My fx35 is burning coils 3 & 5 this is the second time it happened I'm going to try this and see if it solve the problem and thanks for the info...
I just got a code for cylinder 5 &4 I'm hoping it's coils. How does your Infiniti drive with the bad parts? I can barley accelerate down the street without the car shaking

@@jmcvq3594 just replaced coil packs. Fixed everything, all my problems are gone. Honestly thought I lost compression. I would say try coil packs first
Replace all of them and all plugs
I did replace everything the first time it happened I use hitachi coils and ngk sparkplug and it works for almost a year and it happened again

My ecu and ignition coils keeps frying, and the fan comes on when car is off by just putting the key to the on position ? Can you please help me
Are all the fuses and relays good and how many times have you replaced you ecu and coils, also is it the same coil burning ?

Hello just wondering after this video have you ran back into the problem im actually dealing with it now on my FX35 went thro 2 coils #3 almost burning completely up ...i added a new ground to the passenger side but haven't had time yet to test out ...
I keep burning/melting/popping coil packs I will give this a try thank you

@@Fortnite-fz8pi yes I bought the ones in the video and sanded down all the surfaces of the oem grounds and made sure they all made contact THANK YOU MUCH FOR THE VIDEO

inconsistent idle (jumped between 650 and 750)

What are the torque specs when you replace the bolts back on the timing chain cover?

My battery fuse keeps blowing. That extra thing we have on the pos battery post that has 5 fuses. The single one fuse by the post keeps blowing. Will this help stop that from blowing?
What’s a cheap scanner I can use to program a used ecu I got from junk yard. What would I need to marry or code so that everything works right ?
I just had the alternator replaced on my 2004 Maxima but the car is not the same. It’s shaking and the check engine light came on. When I went to pick it up at the Goodyear shop he asked if I had smelled smoke. I said of course not. The car’s brake and battery light went on and then it died on me and that’s why I had it towed to Goodyear. By the way they charged me $700 to change alternator. 😢 I know this doesn’t cost so much. He said some wires were melted behind the engine. I took my car home because I don’t know what they did. Again my car died on me in the street and there was some smoke and burning smell. I had to have it towed to another shop. I got 3 codes for the check engine: P0303, P1615, P1610. Can someone please give me advice and tell me what went wrong? I don’t know what to do. I’m so upset 😢 I love my car but I have spent so much already. I can’t find an experienced mechanic who is honest. Is the new alternator causing the issue? Is it electrical? Hope someone can help. I would really appreciate it.
Man.... I think u just might have solved my problem that has had me head fucked for about 3 months.... I knew it was ground issue, just can't find it.....

are you grounding strapts just connected to any random hole, or did you connect it to a current ground and then grounded to chasis?
Any hole that is within the chassis (metal) will work as a grounding point.
No help.. I need to replace ignition coil and this was no help. Thx

What if the when in gear rpms drop low and cut off
If youre driving normally and then come to a stop and the revs go under to the point it shuts off i would definetly check for vaccum leaks first and then check the fuel mixture/sensors

For some reason I think my car is blowing cam sensors because I would be driving fine and I’d lose all power and it would shut off to the point where I need a tow and the car would crank and crank and would not turn over this has happened 3 times back to back now every time I change the cam sensors starts up drives alittle then the engine shuts off and will not start up have you had any problems like that before ?
I will definetly recommend getting the grounding kit, these cars suffer from that a lot and burn literally any electronics. Try grounding it well and getting a cheap replacement sensor first to test it out. If it works and solves the problem then change into hitachi sensors :)
