Gameboy Classic DMG - Restoration IPS Screen Mod Upgrade & Cutting new shell from RetroSix

Hello there! I'm saving an old Gameboy Classic DMG with a dirty yellow shell. I'm upgrading it with an IPS Screen Mod so it can have colorful background light. The original screen works, but has horizontal lines wich are, from what I know, unfixable. Since I also had a new shell from RetroSix around my place I thought it would be nice to upgrade this oldtimer. Enjoy!

Is the color of your Retro Six shell "Pearl Yellow"? Why is the battery case not also yellow. Looks kind of cheap or just painted.

Not sure how the color is called. I got it in a box with more broken stuff. Indeed it seems like the color was kinda sprayed on the case. Not sure how RetroSix is manufacturing those.
