Thanks Scott, we loved going through the process of selecting parts for this build! Check out a few of our other builds over on our build page! www.stage3motorsports.com/Project-Vehicles-from-Stage-3.html
I’m FINALLY getting a truck I’ve been wanting for so long I’ve been truck shopping for years I’ve had a Ford ranger forever and I love the little thing but I’m finally getting this exact truck I’m only 20 years old and Graduated for just a year but I’ve been SOOO ready to upgrade
Great build, that's what I want to do to my 2010 5.4 v8 super cab. I didn't catch if you guys said tire size and what gears did your truck come with? Thank you so much. 🏁👻👍🏁!
I got a new Ram 1500 classic 4x4 EcoDiesel. With the Westin HDX grill guard was the best option for price, function, and protection. Plus I ordered the HDX flush mount lights as you did here. Basically it’s my daily driver and hunting rig and I just watched this video! This is exactly what I’m building and kitting the truck out. I am about to order my Westin HDX headache rack but wanted to see some reviews. It’s what brought me here. So again this is a great and practical truck build and exactly what how mine will be turning out. Only question is after a couple years since you posted the video how’s this truck doing?
Y'all are giving me a headache. Every time I think I know exactly what I want to save up for, I click another one of your videos. I like this mild build though. This is one of the ones I like the best. it's simple and I can still daily drive it. Just don't make another one to make me second guess again LOL. For the record, 2018 STX crew cab 4wd with a 2.7L ecoboost. I just got it used and I love it.
Looks great! I've been looking for a super crew, but found a nice 2014 supercab. As a daily driver and for someone that regrettably drives a decent amount in suberbia, how do you think the supercab would work for a long road trip with 4 guys?
What make/model is that 4 wheeler? I have the same pickup, and am looking for one. I want to be able to close my tailgate so I can pull my travel trailer.
Did you buy the truck in stock form or did it have any after market Accessories? May I ask how much did your build cost? Sweet, perfect hunting rig without going over the top. Very practical in the real world.
We got the truck in bone stock form! Check out the entire build list and full details here - www.stage3motorsports.com/Stage-3s-2014-F150-5-0L-STX-Hunting-Truck-Project.html
Check it out here - ruclips.net/video/VFtQTL_E9WM/видео.html The load rating for the XTray on our truck is 165lbs. But you will also want to check what the roof load rating is of your truck to make sure you can hold all the gear you plan to stash up there
I have a questions for you guys at Stage 3 or anyone else that has either the fox or icon suspension. I am building a similar build going on but instead of a four wheeler ill be putting a 800lbs popup camper on the back at times and using it for getting off the beaten path for hunting and exploring. Your opinion of going full 2.5 fox or icon w/ the ability to adjust dampening or just going 2.5 w/ out adjustment. Thanks!!
The Fox or the Icon will honestly do very well for you. It comes down to personal preference if you do want that adjustability to dial in your suspension characteristics or not. Before you make your choice, also check out our Overland build, I think it also might help you out - www.stage3motorsports.com/Stage-3s-2014-F150-3-5L-EcoBoost-Overland-Tremor-Project-Truck.html
I would really like to see a little more explanation to define that comment....... Why would you not hunt with your 2014? Would a 2013 work? Do you prefer a 2015? I need closure.
Unless that's the only truck you own (the video title is implying that this truck will only be used for hunting and you have a different DD), an older truck like the 97-03 style would be the cheaper option.
Why not? It’s a truck isn’t it? What if it’s the only vehicle you have and your passion is hunting and fishing? “Hunting rig/truck” doesn’t have to be code for dumpy old jalopy.
Former Toyota owner here and current F-150 owner. That’s the type of garbage Toyota snobs say all day long while their frame rots out holding up a dumpy 3.5L V6 (shoulda kept the 4.0...) being stopped by the same rear drum brakes I had on my ‘73 VW Bug in high school.
Love the fact it's not over done. Subtle enough for a daily driver but capable enough for a weekend hunter.
Love the truck made it useable and didn't lift it to the moon! I also love seeing 4x4 used
Nothing ridiculous, everything is there for a reason and it looks amazing! Awesome build!
Another awesome not over the top build. Especially with a V8. Totally can't wait for mine to get going
Hey Dan hope your build is going smooth!
Sharp build fellas. Best truck on the planet, made stronger
I seriously like this build, it's nicely thought out and purpose built. Awesome.
You guys should dive into the Ranger platform. They are very popular in the after market world.
Good video with reasonable mods to make it more useful in the field. Nice work!
Scott

Hell yeah brother!
Stage 3 Motorsports ^my favorite saying too lol 👊🏻 hope to wander by you guys sometime out in the sticks

Pretty cool pickup. Don't know if I would ever want a two door hunting vehicle though.
Thanks Breck! Would you opt for the full Four door cab setup?
A muddy F-150 is a happy F-150.
Very nice truck. I like it.
What settings on the shocks are you running? I have the same 2.5 Fox and looking for input on settings. Thanks and great looking truck
Was there any trimming needed to fit these tires and wheels on this build, since the stock bumper was kept?
I was considering these wheels for my red Ranger. This man built a beautiful trucks. Wonder what's become of it now.
Where does the big ice chest fit, to hold the game harvested? not sold on the decked system.
u guys really ought to review your shipping costs to canada. was gonna buy a set of tail lights until the shipping came out to $250 bucks
Can the Grill Guard fit the 2021 F150 Stx as well ?
Are those 33's or 35's?

makes me want to get some more stuff on my 2013!
Great video. I love how the tires stick out on that truck. What's the offset on those wheels?

I really want the front grill guard

Stage 3 Motorsports:
Thanks for the feedback. Be safe out and about.
What's the width on those rims?
Far more practical than a raptor. And thank god you went 5.0. The eco boost sounds like shit.
Do you guys have a video for the rhino rack, and does it support a 35” tire up there on nasty terrain? +stage3motorsports ?
Check it out here - ruclips.net/video/VFtQTL_E9WM/видео.html

Stage 3 Motorsports what size x tray is that??
Rci skid plates? Didn't look like the stock aluminum foil that comes on these things.
RCI is making some of the best protective plates out there! Check out their stuff! www.stage3motorsports.com/RCI.html
Why not just get a raptor?
I just want to clarify my earlier comment, i more so meant the 2011 and earlier rangers. Aswell as the new 2018/19 rangers

Looks like you built a truck for a terrible Hunter there’s no room to put the meat
No one in their right mind is going to make their 2014 a hunting truck
Call us crazy then! :P

No one who works on cars/trucks would ever buy a ford... At least you got the 5.0.
