I have 1 "headfi" set because i have a qudelix. I use the LCDi4, which replaces all headfi previously owned, to listen either at home or in my even quieter local park. And if i absolutely need isolation, i have my galaxy buds. Everything else is a compromise on something i dont care for, so i would just sell like all collectors do after the honeymoon phase is over for one of them. A qudelix means you can go forever if you dont care to directly upgrade. It's essential in my eyes.
Yes. This right here. The tuning is spot on for the volumes I listen at and they are light and comfortable. Being under $40 (sometimes under $30!) I don't have to handle them with care like my OH10.
I have the Supernova, Z1r, Mest MK 2, and Performer 8 in my collection. I'll switch between the other 3 depending on the type of music I want to listen to, but the P8 is the IEM I use on a daily basis when I'm at my computer doing casual listening, watching videos, working, etc..
my collection includes : 7hz zero, qkz x hbb khan, blon bl03, simgot ea500, simgot em6l, truthear nova, truthear zero red, letshuoer s12 pro. out of which, as of now i am literally using only the s12 pro. Music just sounds so much more energetic through the s12 that no other harman could ever bring out. its just impossible to get bored with these paired with moondrop dawn pro
I always have 4 iems with me, and I swtich them according to my mood on the day. The 4 iems are Fearless X Crinacle Dawn, Unique Melody MEXT, Dunu SA6 MK2 and another Malaysian made iem (AlphaOmega Omegon MK2).
I've got 6 pairs, I mostly shuffle through 3. Most used are Aful Performer 8, Dunu Davinci, Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. The other 3 in order of use is Aful Magic One, Moondrop Dusk, and somewhere in my apartment is a 7hz Zero 2. Oh, also Zero Audio Carbo Basso exists, so 7.
I love the Variations but just late last year I got the Truthear Nova and I have been using it all the time. I do have my Samsung TWS for on the go stuff as well and for travelling I decided to limit myself to the $100 range. In my last travel I used the Zero:Red but I have also the Aria Snow many times.
Currently, I use the Moondrop May most (including when out and about, etc.), Sony LinkBuds S for listening to podcasts on walks, while falling asleep, or travelling (though my preference is my Sennheiser Momentum 4s). I also use the S12 Pros as fair bit, even sometimes with the May DSP cable.
i use pr2, cadenza, and qkz hbb from time to time. pr2 for orchestras, instrumentals, osts, asmr. Cadenza for general use (i really like that the cadenza performs well on all genres in my playlist), and hbb for bass heavy music. Im still a student so that what i can afford for now...
I have IE200, Jiu, LAN, Aria. And i mainly use IE200. Cuz it fits all types of songs, movies, and games. And it is small, very comfortable. I use open-heart cable for ie200.
I bought the Novas as my first 1em. I'm about to order Bluetooth ear clips, a pair of hbb xuan Nv, and a DAP. I'm also planning on ordering around 10 iems allunder $50
I use the salnotes zero 1 like 6-7 hours a day. I'm a painter so I want something budget when working, and the fit is excellent to me! Got the version 2 on the bench when the original gives up.
I have 6 IEMs and two sets of earbuds. My daily driver and sleeping IEM is my Sennheiser IE600, which I also take when travelling 50% of the time. My gaming IEM and as something of a fun change of pace is my Simgot EA500, though the small, smooth oval shape of the slightly heavier shells don't seat quite as securely as my IE600 or Dunu SA6, so they're a bit uncomfortable to be a daily driver for me. Lastly, I like to be able to swap to my Rikubuds Alter Rider 3 earbuds when it's too uncomfortable to have IEMs in my ears or when I want to be able to hear my surrounding environment and don't want to be too plugged in and unable to hear when someone is trying to get my attention. The small, comfortable Rikubuds Gen 3 earbud shells are also pretty great for sleeping.
Most used: AirPods Pro 2 due to features and integration with iPhone and MacBook. Also use it for cardio due to sweat. For relaxation: Aful P8 For the gym when I’m not doing cardio: IE 600 Currently testing Studio4 and Melody but not sure they’ll replace anything at this point
My 5 iem :Moondrop S8, Letshuoer galileo , Softears RSV, Tanchjim Origin, B&O EQ Now I like the RSV the most , with crazy lovely Timbre. Just got the Origin, very lively performance, great details and imagine, sound like proper Hi-fi speakers. S8 with cleanest sound, good all-rounder. Galileo clean neutral sound, lack some upper treble.
I have about 20 IEMs but the ones I use are the Truthears Nova, Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite (which I listen to mostly for now), Thieaudio Legacy 4, and the Letshouer S12 Pro. For those wireless moments, I do enjoy the Donner Dobuds One. Probably the best sounding wireless buds to my ears with its unique configuration. It has 1 DD and 1 BA but the BA actually points towards the driver instead of the sound tube. It’s a really good blending of frequencies, almost like a single point source.
Amongst my sets the IEM I use most of the time are: Truthear NOVA (used the most) - spot on to my tastes and fit to my ears, often used on-the-go, music listening, gaming, and my work. Moondrop KATO (used almost on par with the NOVA) - I wanted that 1DD magic or a warmer tuning or midbass slam to the NOVA time to time and also as this has a special part to me as being my first IEM Truthear Zero:RED (used the least) - the set I when I wanted to chill and relax with that tastefull bass or just wanted a set with relaxed treble yet still organic sounding
TGXEars Totem for sleep and studying, Koss Porta Pro for general desk use, and Truthear Nova i use for travel general music listening. Airpods pro 2 for gym
Sincerely yes (like 20 pairs)! I use the Mangird Xenns Top on pc and Qkz x Hbb on my phone all the other are just taking dust (i have obv other expansive set, but as a basshead the Qkz are just so good for everything even gaming and even if i lost one, i can buy another pair for nothing).
1. IE600 for pure Enjoyment (I am simply addicted to the detail and the comfort is superb) 2. Gizaudio Galileo (I love the bass and the simplicity and inoffensiveness of its tuning as well as the comfort, use it for music enjoyment and movies) 3. IE200 (for working, simply because of the comfort and the sound is good too)

Great video!! Love to hear what you listen to and why. I own about 20 IEMs and my collection has grown recently where I haven't completely sorted out my preferences. However, my 3 most used right now are the Chopin, which I love to play loud with my Mojo 2/Poly combo on walks, the 7th Acoustic Supernova at home, and the UM Mest original version. I also use my Sony WF-1000XM4 when out and about or flying. New acquisitions include the Penon 10th anniversary, Canon 2, and VE Elysium, which may overtake one or more of my favorites. Eventually, I will sell the ones I end up not using.
I own 7hz Legato, Tangzu Zetian Wu (OG), QoA Vesper, 7Hz Zero. I recently sold my Final E1000 so it's not with me anymore and the Zero is almost like a museum item at this point. Strangely enough, i actually reach out to 7hz Legato way more with Vesper being the close second 😅. I only take the Wu out from time to time to enjoy a different driver.
On my desk I have the Softears Studio 4 (even though I use it mainly to listen to music and nothing else), SA6 MkII, Blessing 3 (again mostly for music listening), Raptgo Hook X and Aful Performer 5. Others come and go but these ones are the staple on my desk.
JVC HA-FX850 in the office for great bass and easy insertion with the down style cable. Massdrop Plus is underrated and super comfy, great for sleeping. Other than this, the OG SA6
I have 3 that I use, AirPods Pro for convenience/podcasts/calls, mackie mp240 for performing (which is rare for me) and campfire andromeda classic for music production and listening. I also have the se215 but they’ve been replaced by the mackie.
Kz EDX pro's. (Ordered 2 years ago, fell out of it) Got the Apple Airpods Pro, after that i got the Nothing Ears 2, with the Apple Airpods Pro 2. I wanted to go back into the audio space. Got the Tungzu Wa'ner's and immediatly after ordered the Aful Performer 5's. Currently the last 2 are shipping including the Zero Red 2 x Crinacle's. I'm terrible with my finances.
I have 14 IEMs…I use on daily base for working (calls, video conferences, zoom meetings, etc) the Tangzu Wan’er (amazing fit for me). For music: Aful Performer 5, and for traveling AirPods Pro 2 Apple and Truthear Zero Red.
i have 11 iems in my collection, daily drive 7th Acoustic supernova, live monitoring is Sony M7, critical listening is Thieaudio Oracle, travel iem is Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite (Quedelix-5k), guilty pleasures is Tangzu Zetian Wu + FF maestro mini + Tangzu Wan'er, listening to varying music - i switch iems depending on the genre. being totally converted to IEM i do have headphones as a back up of sorts HD6XX copper modded, and using JBL LSR250P MKII as my main S.monitors.
Of the 8 sets I own, I use the 7A Supernova (work), Senn IE600 (on-the-go or in bed) and EA Gaea (enjoyment) the most. That said for earbuds in general... My soundcore aerofit pro is by far my most used now. Open earbuds are just so comfortable and I find being able to hear your surroundings really convinent.
I own too many. I think I am closing in on 25 in my current collection. I agree we all tend to have favorite 5. Lately I mostly use the Artti R1, EA500LM, Mangird Tea2, Tanchjim One DSP, and Truthear Hola. That said I have Doscinco and Hades coming, so I almost always have some sort of shake up.
I am a relative newbie ti HIFI audio and do not want to go down a rabbit hole. Having said that I have 7 pair of headphones and 9 pair of IEMs! The headphones are the Sennheisser 660S, Sony MDR 7506, Focal Elegia, Focal Bathys, One Odio A 30, Soundcore Q 45, and SkullCancy Cresher Evo. IEMs are KZ Z 10 Pro, KZ VXS, Moondrop Chu (2), KZ x HBB 13.2 Planar, SoundPeats Q, Apple Airpods Pro 1, Airpods Pro 2, Kinera Idun. The most expensive were the Sennheisser 660S, the Focal Elegia and the Focal Bathys the most expensive. I know there are others who have IEMS that cost more that all I have put together, and that what I have is not the very best in audio. But it is good for me for now. I also have several DACs and two DAP (HiBy R5ii, HiBy R6iii). You know I think I may be into that Rabbit hole!
I use the 7Hz Timeless or Harmonicdyne Athena headphones + Questyle M15 dongle desk at my desk. When I'm out, I use either my Sony wf-1000xm5 or sometimes the Timeless+M15. Lastly, I use the Nuarl Next 1 when I exercise.
My most used set would probably be MMK3, MMK3 being more when I go out and Gaea when I am relaxing at home but Twin Pulse with Bass Mod has replaced MMK3 for me recently so it's mostly those three sets.
I own ≈10 iems Most used is 1) anything recently bought if it's good enough In last month it's Moondrop LAN 2) Truthear Nova, it sounds best of iems I own, especially smooth upper treble
I've sold or have given away my previous IEMs - Kato, Hexa, WanEr, Wyvern Pro, Quartet, Tinhifi T2, JCV Aurea Borealis, Chu 2, Chu, Hola, iE80, Zero Blue, (gave to my wife my) Zero Red, 7hz Zero, and Blon 03 and currently have with me these IEMs - Hype 4, Orchestra Lite, and Timeless.
I'm the oddball here, my three would be the AKG N5005, Thinksound in20, and the Creative Aurvana 2. I picked up the AKG over a year ago at 80% off brand new, so only 200.00. Been a Thinksound fan for a whlie and have several sets by them.(one over ear, two on ear and two in ears) Now the Creative (yes of Soundblaster fame) is over ten years old. Just a single BA but it's great for basic listening like to this video but sounds pretty good for music as well.
Salnotes Zero: For youtube, netflix, and meetings while working Elysian Diva: When I listening to music Thieaudio Oracle OG: For travel Galaxy Buds 2 pro: working out, walking, etc but also mostly for audiobooks and podcasts. Also will get the SA6 Ultra this weeekend, so we'll see how end up using that. Maybe that will replace my Oracle.
I have 7 iems, OG Zetian was my goto for a long time, but now I use Kontinum Soara daily, sometimes switching to Sonic Memory SW2. Older cheap iems sitting inside a cabinet, like Xiaomi Piston 2, Xiaomi Hybrid HD Pro and a Westone x hearX dbTrack. Also, I have a Pula PA02 which killed itself so I'm waiting for the replacement that they offered me prev week.
Yep 26 so far, but I have 4 that are my favs! however the two I use most are cheaper ones that I use at lunch and at work. #1 Alpha/Omega RA, #2 for female vocals Gae Bolg from Metal Magic Research, #3 for bass is the Madoo 512, and last but not least for when I am trying to pick every detail on truly great music is the Elysian Annihilator 2023 titanium!
I just started using IEMs. I have two pair right now but I'm having a hard time finding something that sounds good and has a small enough nozzle for my ears. I have the crinnicle reds and they are a bit too big and hurt. Anyone have a suggestion similar to those but with smaller nozzle?
For music session at home, usually Heyday is the only choice that I will just take it out without thinking from my watch box. Sometimes Fudu if I want to enjoy more bass with KPOP songs and sometimes Musehifi ME1 for treble. Daily travel with Samsung Buds Live for other media when I go out.
I'm not too serious with my iem game. I only have 2 iem, Wan'er and Soundpeats Engine 4. Wan'er is only used when i'm on bed listening to spotify or playing games and Engine 4 is used when i'm on office. If i'm really feeling into listening songs, i just sat on my computer chair and use my r70x.
I have 7 pairs of headphones and 8 pairs of iems, mostly use the moondrop chu1 among the iems cause I love how it sounds and it's cheap for a travel iem, and also the sennheiser hd650/audio technica r70x when I'm home.
From all my IEMs now for couple of months I have found myself using the most Truthear Hexa and Symphonium Meteor. And as for TWS I really enjoy for outside listening Opera05 and for podcasts exc…I think they are called FILL nano…✌️❤️😁 p.s it looks like I’ ll have to get a Chopin😉👍
I only have 1 iem had 2 for a little but I gave the other one away and I also have a few truly wireless earbuds. Main buds are : OnePlus buds pro 2 : Aful Performer 5's
If I were to count my TWS as IEMs, then I would have 6: Wired: Moondrop Quarks DSP Simgot EW200 Aful Performer 5 Wireless: Moondrop Space Travel Sony WF-1000XM3 Lypertek Z3 I did not realize I had this many earhole noise makers until today
1. Aful Performer 5 - as main set, usually outdoors 2. Moondrop Aria - sport set 3. AT MSR7 - PC set, I tried using IEMs for PC but it doesn't sound right to me, so I'm stuck with MSR7 until I'll get something like hd600 or focal
@@samulhardif8331kinda huge leap with lcd5 lol my first was some kind of ATH monitor 800 or something like that and these are my second pair and I've been using it for almost 10 years at this point, so I'm hoping to grab something like Focal Clear MG or mb 800s
I don't have any iems that I use regularly... But I'm staring at a reasonable deal on a pair of Mangird Xenns Top on ebay right now and I'm itchin' to pull the trigger. Should I do it?
IEMs that never leave my bag and as everyday carry: ○ Sennheiser IE 600 ○ DUNU SA6 Mk2 ○ Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro ○ INM4 Stage (custom) and soon DITA Project M hopefully
I got 6 iems and 2 tws , and waiting for more to come, on iem I’m still laborating after ”mysound ” but Quintet is the one i reach for, just wish for a tad more musicality and midbass hope the Ziigaat cincotres will make it . 2 @work tws momentum3 a good allarounder calls ANC multipoint and so on… bike and gym tws soundcore Liberty 4 with hartrate monitor and some umph when gyming. That the 3 i use daily
3 iems. Fatfreq Mini and Scarlet Mini plus my favourite all-rounder Mangrid Xenns Top!!! Anyway Scarlet Mini are addictive 😂. Compliments for yr reviews always complete and reliable!!!
For testing stuff; Binary Acustic's Chopin; it's dead neutral with fun on top(good job Timmy but gosh I can't use this fur long) For fun letshuoer s12 pro with monarch mk2 eq on top (I know it's not the same) For relaxing and not caring about anything truthear hexa with project dusk v2 eq. I also use my hd560s and edition xs with some eq.
Moondrop Lan, Moondrop Starfield, and Softears Volume. Cheaper ones for sleep and travel, Volume for home listening. Would love to buy a Studio4 one day tho...
1. Thieaudio Prestige Ltd (by a LONG way the greatest IEM I have ever heard). 2. Fatfreq Maestro SE 3. Anole VX Sorry, need a bonus 4th as I use them just as much as 2&3 (#1 take up 50% of my listening time) : UM Mest MKII
Ha joke's on you, I don't own any IEMs. They own me.

Most used is the IE200, just supremely comfortable. I take them everywhere, I can wear them to sleep, and I wouldn't feel too bad if I lost them.
I had about twenty, but sold most. My Hidizs beat them all!
I own a LOT of IEMs. The IEM I use the most at work is the Fiio FH9.
Would you say the questyle does make a significant difference over standard smartphone jack outputs ?
@Groumphh yea definitely. Almost any dongle dac would sound better than in-built jack
My most used set would probably be MMK3, MMK3 being more when I go out and Gaea when I am relaxing at home but Twin Pulse with Bass Mod has replaced MMK3 for me recently so it's mostly those three sets.
I use Hidizs MP145 and CCA Rhapsody, and sometimes Sennheiser IE100, et cetera.
I love using the AFUL MagicOne everyday because they are simply the most comfortable iems that I've ever used 👍
I own ≈10 iems
Most used is
1) anything recently bought if it's good enough
In last month it's Moondrop LAN
2) Truthear Nova, it sounds best of iems I own, especially smooth upper treble
My everyday IEM'S I use are the Galileo, Z12 and when I want tons of bass I use the HBB Hades. 😊
I switch between the IE600s and 7th Acoustics Supernova!
I've got 40+ pairs of IEMs. The most used pairs are the 7Hz Timeless and the Raptgo Hook-X. I guess I just lovr that planar IEM sound.
Terrifying
Mostly used: monarch mk2
Beater: Letshouer S12
Gaming: Zero:Red with impedance adapter
You can spend thousands of dollars looking for the holy Grail of iems-the ultimate of all items.
Nice video that you also included Dave to share his thoughts.
Going to work-monarch mk2
Go back home-ie600
Is there a reason why you switch to ie600 when you go home?
@@radiofreealbemuth i listening while riding, the ie600 make me awake when i feel sleepy riding back home as the sounds is quite energetic
@@nazreenshah8001 ah, right on
I'm the oddball here, my three would be the AKG N5005, Thinksound in20, and the Creative Aurvana 2.
Moondrop Lan, Artti T10, Blon Z300, and Galaxy Buds FE. I use all of them regularly. I have around 10 sets.
Salnotes Zero: For youtube, netflix, and meetings while working
Elysian Diva: When I listening to music
Thieaudio Oracle OG: For travel
Galaxy Buds 2 pro: working out, walking, etc but also mostly for audiobooks and podcasts.
At home: Sony IER-M9
For traveling or daily walks: Acoustune HS1650
For convenience or noise cancelling: Samsung Galaxy Buds 2
For music session at home, usually Heyday is the only choice that I will just take it out without thinking from my watch box. Sometimes Fudu if I want to enjoy more bass with KPOP songs and sometimes Musehifi ME1 for treble. Daily travel with Samsung Buds Live for other media when I go out.
AirPods Pro 2nd gen, Xenns Top, and Hyla TE5-B are my most used, closely followed by Dunu Falcon Ultra and EE Legend X
Anni 2023, Chopin, and Aful 5 at work. Nice Video!
Annihilator?
I only own one pair, but I’m looking to get another pair. Currently between the Simgot EM6L or the HEXA
I own etymotic er2se, aful p5, Letshuor Galelio, s12, A&k billie jean and one of the cheaper rikubuds. I love them and i rotate depending on my mood.
Hi Timmy I ordered the Chopin today!!! I already subscribed to Dave's channel and really like his videos.
I only have one iem but I love your videos. Keep it up!
I only have 1 iem had 2 for a little but I gave the other one away and I also have a few truly wireless earbuds. Main buds are : OnePlus buds pro 2 : Aful Performer 5's
Not sure how many IEMs I own but more than 10 for sure
I've been watching this channel since the beginning and I have only ever owned 2 iems kbear ks1 and moondrop aria.
I use my seeaudio midnight the most 😊 but when I’m wireless I listen with the Status Audio ANC3 😊
I only own 3 pairs of IEMs and 1 openback headphone (because I'm broke, otherwise I'd have waaaaayyyy more lmao)
If I were to count my TWS as IEMs, then I would have 6:
Wired:
Moondrop Quarks DSP
Simgot EW200
Aful Performer 5
Wireless:
Moondrop Space Travel
Sony WF-1000XM3
Lypertek Z3
I did not realize I had this many earhole noise makers until today
I have 3. Vision ears 2. Raptgo hook X and Maestro mini. I use the vision ears 3 the most.
Hi Timmy, I use Flipears Artha 💗 the most and my favorite, and Yume2 most often for meetings at work.
Aria 2 and Legatos are my most used
I use my dunu falcon ultra or canon 1 typically. Or either the sony linkbuds or soundcore liberty 4 for tws.
my 3rd pair arrives in a few days
1. Aful Performer 5 - as main set, usually outdoors
2. Moondrop Aria - sport set
3. AT MSR7 - PC set, I tried using IEMs for PC but it doesn't sound right to me, so I'm stuck with MSR7 until I'll get something like hd600 or focal
The MSR7 was the first audiophile headphone I ever looked to upgrade to back in the day. It was effectively my gateway. Now I have a LCD5. lol
@@samulhardif8331kinda huge leap with lcd5 lol
my first was some kind of ATH monitor 800 or something like that and these are my second pair and I've been using it for almost 10 years at this point, so I'm hoping to grab something like Focal Clear MG or mb 800s
For me it's the Timsok Ts-316 (DD) and the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 TWS (xMEMs + DD)
I don't have any iems that I use regularly... But I'm staring at a reasonable deal on a pair of Mangird Xenns Top on ebay right now and I'm itchin' to pull the trigger. Should I do it?
If it's cheap, then you can simply sell it again for no loss.
I'm not the only one who probably not want to use expensive IEM often because afraid it got broken or anything happened to it.
Yet you have a iphone pro or equivalent.
1. Galileo
2. Titan s
3. 7hz sonus
4. Zero red
5. Simgot ew200
6. Samsung buds pro 2
These are my fave daily rotations
1. moondrop variations
2. monarch mk2
3. campfire andromeda
(in that particular order)
IEMs that never leave my bag and as everyday carry:
○ Sennheiser IE 600
○ DUNU SA6 Mk2
○ Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
○ INM4 Stage (custom)
and soon DITA Project M hopefully
Two of them are almost the same. You payed $600 for minor FR changes. Lmao
Believe me they are not exactly the same, almost to me. Anyway it's even the collector's pleasure!
@paolocermelli8108 $600 will give you far more than "collectors pleasure." Rethink this. 😭
For testing stuff; Binary Acustic's Chopin; it's dead neutral with fun on top(good job Timmy but gosh I can't use this fur long)
For fun letshuoer s12 pro with monarch mk2 eq on top (I know it's not the same)
For relaxing and not caring about anything truthear hexa with project dusk v2 eq.
I also use my hd560s and edition xs with some eq.
Moondrop Lan, Moondrop Starfield, and Softears Volume. Cheaper ones for sleep and travel, Volume for home listening. Would love to buy a Studio4 one day tho...
i use IE600 daily and soon on an ipod
I tend to use the Letshuoer S12 Pro most. Otherwise it’s the QKZ x HBB
1. Thieaudio Prestige Ltd (by a LONG way the greatest IEM I have ever heard).
2. Fatfreq Maestro SE
3. Anole VX
Sorry, need a bonus 4th as I use them just as much as 2&3 (#1 take up 50% of my listening time) : UM Mest MKII
I have 8 and I mainly use 3: Dunu Titan S, KZ ZS 10 pro (the only one with a mic for discord) and Softears Volume
right on the money, i do own 5 exactly
