I don't like denim on denim or leather on leather.. . . .seems like over kill either way.. . . the elongated pointy toe looks like the "wicked witch of the west" to
I wear what makes me look and feel amazing. I don't follow social media, style "rules and formulas" and trends. I only shop local and women owned businesses.
Love all of these trends, except for maybe the extra-long pointed toes. I also used to have a suit vest that I wore as a top in summer, but I no longer have the arms to pull those off. I love the look, though! Glad to see the nipped-in blazers and the more classic, preppy styles coming back because, even though I like the oversized look on some people, I think it's harder for those of us who are under a certain height and over a certain age to pull off. Great video, once again! Thanks, Jamie. ❤
I really like the old banana republic style. It was always so put together and you could wear their outfits anywhere. I still have some of their pin striped pants which may be out but they still fit great. I don't get the pleated pants being back- so unflattering imo.
Am still loving your denim vest, which I recall you purchased in green also? I'm about to experiment your look with the striped jumper, which is great. Have found some lovely knit blazers in thrift stores recently which are figure hugging and so relaxing to wear, great for the hourglass. A few polo knits around too which I've stored for next winter. It feels like the first real day of our summer here, and often the best quality garments are found down the back of a thrift store out of season. Will be giving the pointed toe shoes a miss, having wrecked my feet wearing them when they were "so the go" last century! Have discovered there's a price to pay for vanity and this 73 year old likes to feel well grounded while staying abreast of trends that will update my style and work for my body shape. There's a lot of faux leather garments popping up in thrift stores, where the "leather" is flaking off, ugly and polluting, and of course nobody wants damaged goods. Great wee video, thank you Jamie.
That last bit is the reason I staunchly refuse to buy anything faux leather, no matter how cute it is. Because they just don't last. I like to wear my pieces for multiple seasons so its a pass for me.
I like blazer’s are going to become closer to the body and not a fan of the longer pointy toe. Reminds me of costume shoe. I like denim on denim and leather trends. I the white shirt in all ways . Thank for making videos hope you have a wonderful holiday season
Loved the upcoming trends! Could you please do a video on how to style blundstone boots? I love my bluestones but am not sure other ways do styling them other than wearing them with jeans.
I enjoy vests I bought a cream amd a pinl 9ne th8s sum.er the cream one works well where I live all year...very versatile. I have a lomger figure hugging Ralph Lauren brown velvet vest one of my favorite fashion items.
I've already got a couple of pointy toes. I'm already on board with denim on denim. Vests too. But I really want to get on board with us metallic Jeans both silver and gold they look great. I'm lookin forward to that. ❤thanks But I'm passing on the rest.
That denim vest is cute but the ruffles are fighting the heaviness and rigidity of the stripes. A lighter solid knit or a white button down blouse would look nice. A print top could work if there was a lot of movement in the pattern and if the figures created an overall texture rather than separate figures partially hidden by the ruffles. I think the key update for 2024 will be a belt for shaping and any polished look. I really like the thin belts over the large button-downs. It seems like the variety of fabric textures is more sophisticated going into 2024. I am seeing more faux leathers and printed coatings. Seems like 2023 had more faux suede. BB I am thrilled that metallics are acceptable. I recently bought a white button down knit with silver buttons and a gold printed sheen that drapes beautifully. It looks simple and elegant in spite of its luxurious sheen and drape. I can't wait to wear it. And I love your ideas on Layering with a button down. Thanks for all the great advice.
Metallics, leather, denim. I love those and always have. The white button up shirt. Why would anyone wear that if they didn't have to. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
I like hearing about trends. I usually adopt a few of the less extreme, more classic ones every season, they keep a wardrobe fresh-looking.

White button up shirt is not a trend, it is a classic. Every man and woman should own one.
I don’t think so.
Oh, I love a well fitted white shirt, for both sexes.
Not everyone. I love the look but realized that both button ups and white are terrible on me.
I wear what makes me look and feel amazing. I don't follow social media, style "rules and formulas" and trends. I only shop local and women owned businesses.
Long pointy toe shoes…. Pass for me
I really dislike the word TRENDS. People wear PJ to work and to go shopping!!!! Anything goes:(
I was just looking at Polo style tops for summer and love preppy style. Glad slim blazers are coming back. Thanks Jamie! ❤
Thank you!

Thank you Rose and thanks for sharing as usual! I love to hear your thoughts!
I love preppy look and especially Ralph Lauren. I have curated a wardrobe of RL blazers through thrifting
Me too..my waedrobe favorites.
With size 5 shoes, the pointed toe is my favorite. It looks like I actually have feet 😃
Lucky you! I'm size 9.5 ladies, so long pointed toe shoes look clownish on me 😆
I’m excited about the micro kitten heal. Hopefully for those us that want to wear a feminine heel but aren’t comfortable in high heels. 😊
Love metallics and leather

So much fun !! Love your videos!! Thanks!’
Thank you!
Great video! I love the vest trend! I’m not a jacket wearer, too hot, but I love a vest no matter what kind.
I have purses that are metallic and shoes. I have a skirt that is silver. Not really interested in more. It is too much! Been there done that! Yep! 😅
Thanks Jamie!! Love hearing about trends!👚👗🛍🛍🛍

Good memory! Yes I have it in green! Thanks for sharing! You always seem to find good stuff at thrift stores!

Metallics should match your coloring silver for cool gold for warm.
Some people can wear both if their skin is neutral.
I love watching your videos about what's trendy cuz I love fashion

The "SCARY" denim rumor is the return of the "skinny jean"...

Clueless movie style - Cher wore the shirt tail hanging below her skirt when she took her driving test!
I dislike seeing people in pajamas in stores. You can look better

Hello! Who makes your ruffle denim vest you're wearing? tysm!
How can you talk about fashion and be dressed like this?
😲
Absolutely love the suit vest on its own. I feel it has a very sophisticated understated vibe.
Screen Went black bout 1/3 way thru?!?!

Love the preppy look
Love your trends video n what about safari theme trend ?
I am young at heart and continue to look at faux leather pants for purchase. How old is too old for this trend?
There is no age limit in my opinion! 😀
Anyone can wear leather pants. All it takes for any fashion is confidence. When you wear it, wear it with confidence and everyone will love it.
Loved your video
