  • Hello!
    I'm so excited! This is my first ever movie/series react and it's on one of the best shows ever done by Netflix - Heartstopper. The show is about Charlie and Nick that get to know each other and sparks fly...
    I have had a lot of issues trying to upload this video. This is my 8th attempt, which means about seven hours and that is not even mentioning the time it took to edit four hours worth of content. Netflix really dosen't want anyone to show more than 10 seconds from their shows. But anyway, this is what I could do. I really hope you enjoy!

    Regarding Charlie not telling Tao when everyone else knew, it's sad, but it is quite common for the last person you tell to be the person you value the most because you're most scared of them rejecting you. It just didn't go down well. Every other person was someone Nick told, but he did get outed to Tao. (And to be fair in the novels Tao outed Charlie accidentally the previous year and sees how badly that went for him.)

    • @AnnekeOosterink
      @AnnekeOosterink Год назад +8

      I see people saying this everywhere, but in the comics they don't know how Charlie got outed. They talk about how it MIGHT have happened. Tao says he might have talked too loudly to Aled, and was overheard by someone, but that is never confirmed in anyway in the comics.

    • @saralindholm790
      @saralindholm790  Год назад +4

      Yeah I see your point, it should of course be Charlies decision on how and when he tells people, i just wanted to highlight Taos feelings in the situation as well

      @@AnnekeOosterink It's Aled who thinks it was when he and Tao were talking that Charlie got outed but I see your point. It is only a "thinks"! But it does become a plot point, but the TV show does diverge from the novels and it'll have to now. The whole sports day thing doesn't exist in the books!

      @@saralindholm790 Nobody should be forced out full stop, and certainly it's not okay to out others - a reason I have a problem with Elle telling Tao (although she was in an impossible situation there - he'd hate her lying to him even more). But to do it to an 18 year old? And you're a *fan* of this show? Way to not get the memo... It was so horrible, and I'm still fuming about it.

    Hahahaha your rant about the shoes inside was really funny!! xD especially seen from my perspective, a portuguese person. It's very cultural depending on where you are in Europe and there is a tendency of people taking their shoes off more often the northern you go. One of the big players in this custom is weather (but not the only one). Sunnier/Drier countries tend to give less importance to taking their shoes off when they get home. Of course this is not everyone, and I do know families in Portugal at least who do take their shoes off, but generally speaking we don't. It just isn't usually an issue.

    • @saralindholm790
      @saralindholm790  Год назад +1

      I totally get your point and I agree that it's different where you go and here in the north it's really rude to not take off your shoes but I do see that if they are not dirty that it's not a big deal. However I find it weird in countries like England that has the more flexible weather, way more rain for example, that it's a thing to keep them one lol
      I'm happy you enjoyed it!
