Sharp. Clean. Crisp. Nice. As far as the lume, I think we have become spoiled, wanting more and more.
It isn't like we are going to be performing emergency surgery by the glow of our watches. But, even if we
don't need it, we still want it. Thanks for the review.

High level of finishing looks great, looks like could give CW light catcher a run for its money. Enjoyed the review. Cheers.

it was this channel that convinced me on the Photic back last year, and it's great that you're the first i've seen hands-on with the Munro

Great and entertaining review as always Will. Great looking watch - nice to see a Scottish microbrand producing such good pieces.

Great review although I would like to have seen more on the articulation and tolerances of the clasp. It is my usual watch bug bear (like on my Smiths Commando) and I still can't understand why it always seems to be an after thought with so many brands at all price points. I love that it is 2 prong and OTF adjust, I wish that the edges were chamfered and polished on all four sides. I have a San Martin with 3 edges done and this gives a less gappy and cleaner look where it meets the bracelet on one side. The clasp top could be milled so that the link join line continues. It does look less thick and improved from the justonemorewatch review I saw. Regarding the cross hairs on the white dial, I would knock them back by using a mid tone grey which would be less obvious and not get confused with the hands edges as the colour is too similar IMO but I don't mind it. They look finer and less obvious in the other dial variants. Tom appears to have done an outstanding job on this and at just the right price point. Without seeing it in the flesh, I absolutely love everything about this highly considered watch. Shame I'm skint ATM (I'd happily review it for Tom:) otherwise I would order one! Unusually I can't think of any improvements, screwed spring bars for added climbing security perhaps, a red tip halfway up the seconds hand to the lumed diamond to add to the NWSE accents perhaps. It's just my opinion and it's still look great as it is, that bracelet is a winner!

I have ordered the Spindrift because it's Scottish! Great to hear that you feel it's a great watch as obviously I'll need to wait until Spring 24 to get mine.

Great review. Seems like a real solid watch. Thick applied markers give it a nice 3 D look. I agree about the crosshairs, would look much cleaner without them. And loved the talk amongst yourselves.

Love your reviews Will, and great to see some footage and impressions of this one - I've ordered a Ridgeline myself as I think the tri-colour will set it apart from the rest of my watch box (perhaps in the 'fashion victim' corner 🤣) - maybe it's a Scottish thing, but design-wise I think this could well be my perfect watch!

I normally wouldn't go for the 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 watches at all, but this is an exception--the clean white dial with the applied markers cannot be beat. Ordered one today with both colored straps and even an extra bracelet (which will remain unscratched!). I can see this as being my daily driver. Thanks for the thoughtful review. Go Scotland!

Great video. Nice lume! Very nice watch! I agree on the elimination of the crosshairs.
I have 2 watches (I noticed lately) that have crosshairs. It's a vintage touch with a super lume dial doesn't match.
Have you reviewed Direnzo watches? I would like your opinion on that brand as well.
