  • The Clemence Munro....just a very premium built field watch. Almost every aspect has been so well thought out, and you can clearly see this when looking at this watch. It's probably the best built watch at this price point!
Remember to order within 48 hours of its release on the 17th October 2023 for the best price available at £525 with the bracelet, after which will go up to £575.
You will have to wait until March 2024 for first orders to be fulfilled, which is probably the hard part.
Well done to Tom from Clemence watches for such a nice watch!

To clarify, the is a field watch as stated by the the BRAND OWNER, however, the as a testament to the build quality and features, it 100% makes it a GADA watch specially with the 150m WR which is what makes this watch even better!

Although i'm not a fan of this kind of hour hands, ie arrow, more so if splitted in three parts at the triangle, this is damn well thought and designed watch. Kudos to Clemence. Plus i love 3 hands watches with even numbers. Add the clean dial, the amazing bracelet and all the rest elements/specs of this watch, i think we have a winner. A true GADA (don't care field or wtf), in fact a piece unique for an everyday watch.
Honestly thanks for bringing this up Zeb, be well mate, cheers.

Great review, thanks. I’ve had my Munro now for about 2 months and I love it. The quality is absolutely outstanding especially the bracelet. I have the NATO strap as well but definitely prefer the bracelet. Great value for money even though I had to pay A$275 import duty for Australia. The watch has special significance for me as my 91 year old father climbed all 282 Munros in his younger years.

I really like it when you can see that a company really put some serious thought into the design and build of their watches on this one it massively shows in every way Although there are a couple of things that will keep me from pulling the trigger one it's not my most favorite style of watch and second I wouldn't want to tie up my funds for that amount of time but they are Definitely on the radar Always appreciate you sharing and I could see why you pulled the trigger Be well my friend and Stay Frosty 👍

That's a really nice offering bro. The aesthetics are on point and I'm struggling with anything thicker than my Sugess GMT. I love the way the polished bevels on the case run in to the beveled edges on the bracelet, really stands out here.
Still my most worn watch is the 1697 proxima so, anything that gets close to how that rides on the wrist is a winner for where I'm at with watches at the min. Would be nice to support a local brand as well. I hope it sells well

@TheWatcherReviews If you have now the Munro bracelet in your studio, can you please try out, if it fits the SARB033 or any of the SARB Alpinists? I am looking forward to first buy the bracelet and use it with my SARB017, later on I might buy the Munro to add it to my collection in addition to my SARB and other field / gada style watches.
    Thank you upfront!

Damn, that is a GOOOOD looking watch!
Great dimensions, I really like the large crown, nice proportions IMO.
3 o-clock crown position is a bit boring, could do with being 3.8 or having a nice closely wrapped crown guard, that's just me though.
I'm also not in love with the handset, especially the hour hand.
Lots to love about this though, I especially like the dial/numerals choices, and the size 👍

  • @thegorn
    @thegorn 11 месяцев назад +4

Field watches don't come in yellow dial; have all 12 indices printed not applied; and have a secondary inboard chapter of 24-hour numerals. They are no-frills and utilitarian, designed for technical and/or military operations, so little to no polishing of sides and chamfered edges. See the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm, and the Boderry Voyager for examples of field watches. This is a GADA watch based loosely on some field motifs, but that in no way qualifies it as a field watch. The same can be said for the Rolex Explorer (I not II). It's a beautiful watch though, albeit too small for me.
