@@kclayA111 that's certainly a theory. Yet his criminal history would contradict it. If db had no previous violent incidents I'd give credence to the "what if" of your theory. But less than 2 weeks prior to the parade he ran over Erika Patterson with the red SUV. And his conduct during the trial is telling, the lack of self control when mere words challenged him, not potential physical harm, just words, he lost control of himself. His choice to display his anger & rage was plain to see. No one threatened him, no one challenged him to a fight, yet words caused this donkey to spin out of control. His behavior & lack of self control is a choice, he made it and is now reaping the consequences of said choice.
