Gavin, I admire you and your personality. It is refreshing to see a human being admit possible mistakes and be open minded. Most nowadays are too ego driven and self absorbed to do so. You stay calm, as well, which isn't easy to do sometimes.
I agree - and he manages to stay calm and cautious when sharing his thoughts. His expressions manage to convey how he feels without going into a passionate rant. (As I am apt to do.)
Let’s be very very clear. Abusive men will ALWAYS say their victim was is crazy !! ALWAYS!!! and he is not going to say he abused her but it was HER that was abusive!!! This happens in almost every case!! If you believe his story, the details of this case he tells others … seek help stat!!! Could mean educate yourself on this matter. There is no way she put her head up to his to take his life as well. Nope not buying it !! First the blood or lack of it on him means he’s lying. And he is. Just from what he has already lied about her being the violent one. And second It was very Obvious if she wrote those letters that she wanted him to not blame himself.
Now Let’s be clear Even a little chance in his story is HUGE ask any police officer, You should know that if you know of many other cases.
The chances two women in his life committed suicide and with him there Nope doesn’t happen.
Sarah Sweeney's cause of death is still unknown-the autopsy hasn't come back yet. And according to the civil case she had against her former employer, she was very ill.
I’d recommend reading the case files and listening to the interviews. It would take Gavin over forty hours to share all of the information he has compiled. This was the most toxic relationship I’ve read about, on both sides. Very sad. Also, Daus does not state Grace was trying to take both of their lives, that sounded like more of a possible theory to explain the cheek to cheek hug. Had that been a 40 caliber, this would be a very different story.

Replay crew again! I am still on the fence regarding his culpability. I believe he is a slimy character, and I wouldn't put it past him to do something like taking her life. Thanks for your updated thoughts Gavin!

Do you think this could have been written in April when she was found locked in the bathroom, when her sister Laura and Laura’s boyfriend broke down the door to get in the house while Rob wasn’t there? There isn’t a date on the letters.

I usually don't coment and maybe its a stupid question 😊 But my first question, when I saw this is: do we know when these notes, to her girls and fiance, where written?
To me they look like something she could have written for a previous attempt or even just a "Im leaving you"-note to him and a I love you note to her girls (or even journal notes...) Its a little sus to me that he brought them in the next day...

i wonder about the note to robert … if she had been thinking she might take him as well as herself by being cheek to cheek then why would she have written him a goodbye note as well … plus the fact that cheek to cheek is a tricky move if you’re trying to take yourself & another person out … it would take a split second move that could cause life altering injuries instead of death … why take that chance? if he didn’t see a gun come up being that close to someone i find that suspect …

I dont think you made a mistake. The guy is supposed to be a captain n you know they buddy buddy eachother. if there isnt a law against driving someone to off themselves then there should be. Looking out for 2nd woman video. Thanks for making the info available good work

If she was an alcoholic THAT could explain the frequent bruises. I have known many and they aren’t steady on their feet. Cannot assume because of the bruises that he physically abused her

If what Das says is true about how Grace took her life, and tried to take his, how hard this defense would be, if he were actually hit but survived? The scenario he describes is plausible, but if he were actually hit by the bullet, but survived, nobody would believe it.
In the selfie with the gun she held it with her right hand, because the dominant hand was occupied with the cellphone . Not so in a serious s*icide.
And I don't buy the cheek to cheek shooting at all.
