TF2: Freak Fortress 2 (Wolf O' Donnell Gameplay #3)

I wonder exactly what Wolf's rage is supposed to reference in regards to the Star Fox games, given that it's a Cow Mangler that can only attack with alt-fire.
...Possibly a Smart Bomb?
