It's not often you see a muzzle flash that big from a pistol.
Lots of shorter barrels waste powder depending on the load but its fun to watch. I had have some hand made ones that put out an insane flash because the powder is on the slow side.
I was shooting Remington Golden Sabers through my GP100 & the RSO came out of his booth to"See who's got a flamethrower on my range!"
Owner of a Coonan since middle 80s mine prefers 158gn full power leads I have a Wichita compensator/ muzzle brake that simply takes the place of the original factory barrel bushing. So far it cycles perfectly and is very accurate. The only other pistol that I'd like to have to have bought would have been have been the LAR Grizzly, which wasn't on the market at the time. A friend of mine had did aquire one and I had a great time firing it . Grizzly may have been a better choice than the Coonan only because it was it had far more interchangeable parts with 1911 off the shelf. Including every caliber conversion available at the same.
.357 is my all time favorite ammo and weapon - ive owned several .357 revolvers in my time lol my #1 favorite is the S&W model 681 full combat .357 with the 4 inch barrel - i was talked into selling mine back in the late 80s to a doctor who paid me twice as much as i bought it for- then i found out S&W quit making them and no one was selling them 😖
One of these days Ian's gonna show up to a BUG match with a bullpup revolver. Yes they actually exist.
I don't know about a bullpup revolver but I have a Coonan and you can bet I was on a waiting list for a Boberg before they sputtered and died.
@@uscscjohnson Well the bullpup revolvers I'm talking about were prototypes that were made in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The two I know are the Cherubin Pistol and the Shaw Underhammer Pistol, so use those names in search engines to weed out fake memes.
As for Boberg, I like the idea and I'm glad Bond Arms came along and gave bullpup pistols a second chance at life.
We used to cast the frames and slides for these where I work.
After watching this video, I now have seen the gun that I didn't know that I needed. Pretty awesome.
Ians French uh huh huh was perfect
Since Coonan has the 357 figured out, let's move on to something a bit sportier like a 454 Casull. The world needs a bigger, magnumier 1911 like that!
Try one of the .45 win mag 1911's that exist out there
1:30 "Welcome back to Drug Dealer Simulator! I'm your host, Ian."
“Maybe I can turn the spinner with only seven rounds” *misses 5 times out of 7*💀💀
Now that is a back up gun.
I always need to fight down the obsessed feeling when I see a very cool gun like this as my domestic bliss will be shattered if I spend thousands and thousands on rare guns
Our prayers have been answered!
I guess everyone is looking forward to his apperance.
"Oh, great, Mr. McCollum will bring some very interesting Guns!"
This means only one thing. Desert Eagle .50" for the BUG match and a full tabletop video will be soon.
Dear Ian, maybe this is the most logical and successful Auto magnum pistol ever made since the failure of the original Auto magnum that failed even in the making of dirty Harry until Clint Eastwood chucked that piece in a fit of rage during the set.
"Eyes and ears, I emphasize ears" "Yeah, double up on the Ear Pro". Definirelt a .357 Magnum.
".357 Mangle-em" lmaooo
I prayed for it, and my prayers are answered!
5 shots, 7 targets....I have faith in you
Are you allowed to put 1 bullet in the chamber to then top off the magazine again in competitions like these? It can make a difference with low capacity firearms.
My bet is the match is designed around “conventional” backup guns, j frames and kel tec etc. The idea being you have 5/6 shots and a spare mag or speed loader.
For safety purposes this will generally not be allowed.
I do it all the time with mine
The hosts are probably scratching their heads and wonder before every match with what Ian is coming up this time.
One of these days, Ian’s going to show up at this match with a 20mm anti-tank rifle.
what a sweet looking and sounding gun!
I bet these guys love seeing Ian using strange firearms in matches.
The paper stood no chance.
