You should see my henry model x .45-70 that has full ranger point precision handgaurd and lever button an extended hammer and aimpoint t-2 and a dead air primal suppressor on it!
The 45-70 version is what got me hooked and started my gun collection journey. After the ranger point upgrades it truly becomes a weight felt by Atlas himself.
I can’t wait till Remington buys Marlin again. Remington made so many different models in so many chamberings. .444 Marlin, .35 Whelen, .44 magnum, 45-70, 30-30. Remington came up with the Dark Series first in 30-30 then 45-70. Henry competed with the Henry X which was good!! This Henry X is far better than the one that came out several years ago. Really nice “Henry” great lever gun!!
the year is 2024, and for some unknown reason we haven't tried making a box mag attachment for leaver action rifles, just holding an extra 5-7 bullets would be a crazy.
I have just started reading into rifles, and this specific video really put my bias to this gun to a whole new level. Thank you sir for the video. I will save up to be able to afford t his kind of setup.
This is probably the softest shooting platform that can still take a deer if you need it to, especially running a +P, and it is still terribly fun at the range. The can just makes it that much better.
I'm running a Henry Mod X in 30-30, I went with the RPP handgaurd, kept the OEM synthetic stock to run a Bradley kydex cheek weld, hoptic 2-rd quiver, magpul afg foregrip, a vortex lpvo, and x300. I think it's coming in around 11 lbs. And I absolutely love the whole setup. (btw the RPP stock weighs in at 22 oz.) edit: and you are correct, with the RPP, I did have to wet sand down the tenon just a bit to get a good fit.
“How did anyone survive gun fights back in the day” 😂 spitballing here but I am guessing the pro’s had a keen appreciation of “cover” Have had a TON of fun with my Wolfman/357X glad you are enjoying yours
I have the 44 Mag/Special version of this gun an love it. I’ve put many many rounds through it. Other than a nice optic and a lever wrap you honestly don’t need to add anything to this gun. I do have a flashlight attachment for when I’m camping. This is my primary bear gun along side my Super Red Hawk Alaskan 44. I like only needing to carry one type of ammo. I have a six round quiver on my cross-chest Alaskan holster that is good for reloading the Henry. Honestly though if I can’t get it done in the 9 you can load in the Henry I’m probably already getting eaten.
The RPP rail is actually lighter than the midwest. I took my midwest off to put my ranger point costas rail on it. The midwest has that heavy continuous rail on top. The costa has a removable lightened rail that you can take off sections for. The rangerpoint stock is lighter than chisels stock as well. My setup is almost a pound lighter than my friends who has the identical setup you do. His is cerakoted od green. The hammer extension might be the groovetec.
I have the Henry X in 357 with the Ranger Point Precision handguard and stock and it is HEAVY. However, the weight helps to make the recoil on this thing feel like a 22.
Handguard length is just fine for the loading tube, just need to pull the tube all the way out and drop from the end, not the opening below. Great build!
and....LOTS of Sika deer...in MD... I mean...they are everywhere. Suppressor price...wow- - seems expensive for what you get considering it's almost as much as the rifle itself. Alignment tip was helpful. (how did gun fights go?)...one round at a time.... (hold up...let me reload...) enjoyed the video.
I just bought my first lever gun its a henry x in 30 30. I put a romeo msr on it not realizing it sits way to high so i think im going to just put a cheek riser on it to compensate. Looks like you did the same thing.
this is the kind of gun i would go for in any fps game ...I dont care if its a meta gun to use, Its a cool marksman rifle and that is fine with me. I dont need the highst K/D ratio or be any good at the game, I just appreciate the gun design.
Had an absolute blast running a bunch of suppressed lever actions at CanCon yesterday. Definitely next on my list. Is this the stock barrel length (17.4 if im looking at Henrys site correctly) or did you have some work done there and I missed it in the video
Great video and beautiful gun. Just got mine and excited to do a build myself. By any chance did you ever remember the brand that extends the back of the hammer?
@@ANRDesignLLC Lightning quick response. Thanks! Keep up the great video content. I wish you sold the eye pro on your shop so I could order from you instead of elsewhere to help support.
This has to be the single most gorgeous machine I've laid eyes on.

Thank you for giving the build out because this thing is gorgeous and I've always wanted a lever action rifle. I know what to do next!
This is the definition of a beautiful rifle, great job 👏🏻

you have convinced me to get one of these. .38 and 357 rounds fit. thats is awesome.

I have the octagonal case hardened 357 as well, love that one. Beautiful gun, putting the hand guard on my 45-70 X right now :)
heck yeah!
I have the same plus a brass side gate in 44mag

the “ask me how i know” with the minimal zoom-in had me dead.😂
hahaha
Considering getting one like my brother. It's impressive. Heavy with equipment...but solid as a rock.
Peace of mind is not the absence of conflict from life, but the ability to cope with it.

I didn't know there are Sika deer in Maryland... You learn something new every day!
Oh and cool video - lever guns are fun, especially the 357/38 versions.
yup!
That is the slickest mod I have ever seen on a Henry 🔥
Shoutout to hunting sika deer in MD!. Absolutely Beautiful!!!.
I love this rifle so hard.

yasss haha

They also were able to use the loading tube, which made it a lot easier to reload vs the gate.
hahaha exactly!
Wow, what a beautiful weapon...

Thank you Mary!
awesome production value
Much appreciated!
Have fun shooting out in Maryland, it's my home town!! Laws suck though.
meh, laws only work if you get caught. ;)
I NEED THIS NOW SETUP EXACTLY THEY YOU GOT IT!!! I NEED 3 OF THEM!!!
excited about this I just picked one up.
hell yeah

this is true!
@@ANRDesignLLC my Marlin 1895 Dark weighs significantly less than my Big Boy X, even stock vs stock.
Don't know your weight? I'm looking at similar setup with Ranger Precision Point
Que arma linda, lever action é uma das melhores animações de recarregar
I have my Marlin 357 level in grey laminate...but man I think I need me one of these for the other side of the spectrum!
So dope, thanks for sharing!
That rifle rizzed me!
Good looking lever gun!

great!
liked and shared for no ad comment, we love you too
Awesome, thank you!
Dreamy. Lever action rifles just look so pure and mechanical.
they feel pure

Amazing
Never blow down the barrel.. Beautiful rifle nonetheless, nice video!
Beautiful
Sans doute la plus belle arme au monde 🥰
would be dope if we had this as an ornament for Dead Men's Tales in Destiny 2......
I've been trying to find an X model 357mag Henry for 2years now and no luck. Purchased 2 45-70's in that time though.
i ordered from them direct and waited 6 weeks
@ANRDesignLLC Well my birthday is next March. Guess after I'm done with Christmas & the New Year, I'll be ordering myself a birthday gift.
I want THAT...but with no suppressor! 😏 👍
Smoothhhh !!
Def just subbed
Nice set up. It is ashamed that you can't find this rifle anywhere.
order it from henry

I have never googled something so fast haha even over a year late I guess 😂
Did you remember the Manufacture company of the hammer enhancer by chance?
hammer extension, i do not. warner maybe
i have a 30 30 just like this its crazy but i would like to put it on my 45 70 so plz let me know where i can get one tnx
Are there longer barrels if you wanted to have them longer? lol that's my only question - this is perfection
dunno, this is 16
Need me one of these
happily my 357 and 44 were both nicely concentric ... good tip for sure though
This is the way 🔥
You should get a leather strap for it
new sub for sure
thank you!
Is this furniture compatible with the Henry 22 lr rifles too? Or is it specific to the higher caliber ones like this .357?
not sure

thank you!
Think I'm torn between keeping it light and having those nice extras...
I have this exact rifle. I wish i could afford the $2500 worth of accessories

Why would you blow moisture into the barrel? doesent that risk corrotion?
do you know what a biproduct of combustion is? h2o
