    Hi, the pants with a back pocket dated 1945 are the M44 trousers meant to be worn with the M44 Wool Field Jacket Liner; better known as the Ike Jacket.

    Did the soldiers wash this uniform with water and detergent?

      @@gooser__43 in the field they probably would have just used water and maybe soap if they had it. But when I wash them for reenacting I dry clean them
