I saw this WWII USMC reenactor at Reading WWII Weekend with a K-BAR that had the handle replaced with a metal handle with a skull, I think he said that Marines would have to replace the handles of their K-BARS because the leather on the handle would rot.

Hi, the pants with a back pocket dated 1945 are the M44 trousers meant to be worn with the M44 Wool Field Jacket Liner; better known as the Ike Jacket.

Interesting video! I have a pair of new old stock US Military, I believe Army Mounted Canvas Leggings ,which are taller than the 1938 Dismounted Leggings. WW2 Canvas Leggings were worn during the Vietnam War in swamps by Recon units as the low flimsy side panels of the Jungle boots were inadequate to protect the wearer from leaches etc.
