A bit late now, but I suggest disassembling the weapon, gently sand the wood down and darken it with wood varnish. Remove the top round head screw and replace it with a slightly shorter counter sunk screw, fill in the top of the hole using brown wood filler and the wood varnish. Fit a leather sling instead of the canvas one.
First! great Video, I really want to get one but I'm up in Canada, and because they resemble a "modern weapon" they're illegal. I'll have to try and make a wooden replica.
@@averymoser8606 For Sure, they also sell plain m1 Garand stocks in Canada, and somehow those aren't illegal, so if I were to get one of those I could pretty easily make a bolt and barrel out of wood...but those are pretty much my only options
For the slide thing you can adjust the screw and it would go fully back. That’s what I heard someone doing and it should work.
Oh okay thanks 👍

I'm going to do that when mine arrives. Is it hard to disassemble and put back together?

Does it dry fire? And can you load dummy rounds into it
Yes it just makes a clicking noise when you dry fire it but you can not load dummy rounds into it
Where did you buy this denix from?
