I’ve met people when I’ve been travelling too. I made a friend in Prague back in 2017, an Austrian girl. She came and met up again when I was over in Venice a year later. Then we met up again in Lisbon when she moved over there for a year. Haven’t seen her in a few years but we’re still on Instagram and I’m sure it will happen again. The best part of these types of vacations is that you’re always meeting like minded people.
Welcome back Ben. You should visit Heidelberg or Wurzburg in Germany. Beautiful cities and the hike up to the castles in both cities is worth it for the stunning views. Also eagles nest in berchestgarten is just wow
I'd love to do more of Germany! Would probs have to do it as part of a longer trip, as sadly flights into Germany aren't great and can be expensive anyway. eagles nest is deffo on the list for one day!

Great video. I often travel alone because my partner hates flying. At first I was reluctant to, but I'm used to it now and appreciate some of the aspects of it, particularly the ability to do exactly what you want, when you want. I'm much more wary of personal safety traveling alone and don't think I'll ever get used to eating out by myself but otherwise I really like it - no negotiating over where you go and how long you spend there. I'm currently working out where to go next alone - it'll probably be a trip to Vancouver and Seattle in late spring but I might try and fit in a long weekend somewhere beforehand.
Great video, as always. I may have said this before, but you are my favorite travel blogger because you are so honest in sharing your experience. The classical music is nice, too! Zakopane is beautiful. I did a day trip there from Krakow once. I would really like to get back to do some hiking.

Hi Ben .So beautiful scenery in zakopone in winter season .it's inspiring me to visiting again .sadly when I been there don't have snow. I was there on end of February this year . May I know what specific months will be snow in zakopane ..

Incredible place Mark! Would recommend. Only 2 hours drive or on a FlixBus from krakow to Zakopane. Then bus from Zakopane to Morskie Oko Is 1 hour, and then a 2 hour walk up to the lake. I have included a bit more detail in my ‘visit Zakopane’ video if that’s of any help :)

Very kind of you! But sometimes I can actually be a bit grumpy and burnt out on my solo trips.. perhaps not as seems as always seen in videos 😄

You should visit again! You were probably unlucky not see snow this year. I'd imagine there is likely snow between the months of November-February
