- After a weekend visit with family, instead of heading straight back home to Nashville, TN, we took a scenic detour west down the beach to explore the west side of Pensacola and into Alabama. Departing from 2R4, (Milton, Floria), we travelled south to the Gulf Islands National Seashore, which stretches 10 miles alone a narrow barrier island, and then on to Pensacola Beach. We flew past Fort Pickens National Park and Pensacola Naval Air Station, and continued down Perdido Key to Gulf Shores Alabama. The goal was to land at Jeremiah Denton Airport (4R9), which is a very unique airstrip located on the Alabama coastline south of Mobile, called Dauphin Island. The airport has the waters of Mobile Bay on all four sides and makes a beautiful backdrop for some nice aerial scenery. From there we backtrack across Mobile Bay to Gulf Shores International airport (Gulf Shores, Alabama) for fuel, and then begin the night flight home back to Nashville, TN.

love the editing. What i see in my videos, is if I get to the story / quest statement in the 1st 30 seconds I hold the audience a little better. I was running and intro too but cut it to get to what, where, why and how quicker. You do a good job of moving the camera every 5-15 seconds to hold a the viewer.
It is always a challenge to find time to edit for me. Appreciate the positive comments. I like to edit in a way that if you watch without sound, that it is still interesting to watch. Getting clean audio on the GoPro's in my plane has taken some trial and error, but I think I have found good system. I think the audio sounds pretty good in this video. I have just subscribed to your channel. I will check it out!
