Light Sport Pilot Adventures is a vlog dedicated to the fun and adventures that can be had by flying a modern two seats Light Sport Airplane, such as our 2009 TL Sting S3! Crystal and Rob started taking private pilot lessons together, later in life, after their kids had grown. Quickly they purchased a 2009 TL Sting S3, and the adventures have begun! The Sting S3 was chosen in particular for its speed, reliability, and versatility.
Their plan is to visit EVERYTHING within flying distance of Nashville, TN, which is home base. Their first adventure, flying down the Gulf side and then up the Atlantic side of Florida/ Eventually they will fly to "First Flight" in Virginia, to Maine, across Niagara and the Great Lakes, visiting Osh-Kosh, and then west over the Rockies to Washington. Eventually there will be a Caribbean, Central American, and a Canadian adventure at some point!
Come along for the ride and experience these Adventures with us!

Florida Coast Flying - Light Sport Pilot Adventures 018(4K) - N234YP- TL Sting S3
At the end of a trip to Deland Florida to visit family, we had a free day to explore the area a little bit on the way back. Even though the weather was not the best for flying, we decided to take a trip south down the coast to Titusville, then back up to St. Augustine.
Florida is known for quickly changing and sometimes volatile weather, and this day was no exception. Rain and Storms came in from west to east over Florida that day, and cut off our flightpath back to St. Augustine for 2 hours. It is the nature of VFR flying. But, the storms offered some beautiful flying, great aerial shots, and scenic views of the Florida Coast.
