How to Crochet Easy From the Middle Decorative Pillow

  • The Crochet From the Middle Pillow is based on the concept of the crochet afghan that can go with it. From the middle means it can go as big as you need it. This essentially means, if you have a bigger pillow to cover, you can make more rounds.
    You will create two pillow faces the same size. Then you will put them together with single crochet around the pillow. Insert the pillow form before sealing the final side.

    What a beautiful design. I am going to make a blanket with Yonkey Monkey yarn. Its small yarn but shows off the stitches. I do have a question though, would you have a pattern for a rectangular blanket? I am making this for my bed which is a twin size but I would love to make a rectangular blanket. You are a wonderful teacher. You are very clear and precise. Always love listening to you. When I get farther a long I will send a picture.
    Thank you so much for being a great teacher🙂

    Thank you so much, I love this pattern! Made the blanket, making the pillow now but I am using Lion Brand Big Scoop Ice Cream yarn and a size 4.5 mm hook. It's more work but it is beautiful in the lighter weight. I would love to have a lightweight sweater in this pattern. Please, please, please make that happen Mikey!

    At what point will the work lay flat? Is there something I should (or should not) do to keep it from curling up?

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  3 года назад +1

      It it's curling. increase your hook size as your tension is tight.

    • @diamondpainter16
      @diamondpainter16 3 года назад

      @@TheCrochetCrowd Thank you so much for your reply! I’ll try that. I’m currently using an H 5mm hook with red heart 4 weight. Should I go up to I or J? I’ve practiced using size I but it still curls, just not as bad. I tend to crochet more on the loose side so it’s not that my tension is too tight.
